The tracking from usps is the biggest joke/ripoff i have ever seen. there is no tracking of an item shipped with them. they are too lazy to scan the item so there is no tracking. many times ive tried to track a package from usps and the message is always the same. (((your package was recieved on whatever date it was mailes. check later for updates)))). of course, there is never an update. i recieved a package several times and the tracking number was still telling me it was recieved on whatever date. and to check later. if you honestly want to track a package. use fedex or ups. then you can really track it.

WARNING!! I purchased two (2) sheets (20 stamps per sheet) last week at the post office; upon returning home I noticed that one sheet had four (4) stamps missing (and these are self-adhesive). The clerk did not put the sheets in an envelope (like they should have) but...there is no way stamps that are affixed with adhesive could drop off the sheet. Upon returning to post office this week, I was told by the Postmaster that I needed to let them know of this at time of purchase. So, another thing to worry about...don't forget to scrutinize your liberty stamps before leaving the premises!

Today I had a very unpleasant experience with OUR US Postal Service. Last night I accepted a PO Money Order from an individual to pay for a large taxi fare. When I attempted to redeem this PO Money Order I was told by the US Post Office that since I was not the person that the Money Order was originally made out to they would not honor the Money Order. I pointed out to the Post Office Employee that the Money Order had been endorsed over to me by the original recipient and there is no place on the Money Order that states the the money order is not transferable.

When I ask for something in writing they said they would NOT provide me with anything in writing. When I asked to talk to the Post Master I was told the general public, the lowly Post Office employees and taxpayers were not allowed to speak to the Post Master or anyone on their staff in person.

When I asked for a copy of the Post Office regulation that had to do with the redemption of US Post Office Money Orders they said they could not supply me with that information because all of that information was in a large book of regulations. When I asked why she did not just do a search on the database or document(s) containing the US Postal regulation she said it was because the US Postal Regulations were not digitized.

Question(s):
(1) Why is the general public, the lowly postal employees and the taxpayers not allowed to speak to the Post Master or someone on their staff in person?
(2) Why are Postal employees claiming that something is in the US Postal regulation, but are unable/unwilling to supply you with a copy of this information?
(3) What does the US Postal Service do except deliver Junk Mail?

Tracking number is useless!! We need a bailout FROM the Post Office. They should pay me back!!
