				Fraud and cheating!

Ordered DVD's on their "Secure" website. Within hours, someone got a hold of credit card information and began charging items to my credit card to the sum of over $300. E-mailed and called company. No one was available. No response. Finally canceled credit card. Everyone would be well advised to stay away from this "company". Credit fraud from bank is looking into the matter and hopefully they will catch these crooks.

				Did not recieve DVD's!

I ordered a box set of DVD's on November 24th of 2007. TV Addicts first claim they sent the DVD's then they state they they are on back order then they state that they sent the DVD's and to check on the delivery per a tracking number. I did not receive the DVD's and the tracking number shows up as invalid. I have made at least 20 phone calls and sent even more emails but I get no response.

Read this if you have been ripped off!

If you have been ripped off by this company ~ or their sister companies: DVD Avenue, DVD Donkey or todvdornottodvd:
Call your credit card company right NOW and put the charge in dispute. You only have 60 days from the date the charge was put on your credit card. TVAddicts will probably charge your card weeks or months before they ship the product so time is of the essence! If you have time, please e-mail some of the names below and turn in a complaint. Hopefully some day they will get shut down.

Good luck.

				Didn't receive product ordered!

I ordered a dvd as a christmas gift. I never received a confirmation letter. I called several times and my calls were not returned. I finally spoke to Denise and jen on live chat, and they kept giving me a run around then finally disengaged the chat. Is there anyone like a better business bureau or something to report this to...

Does not honor orders, returns, ignores customer inquiries

I truly wish I had investigated this company before ordering the "Centennial" mini-series from them in mid August, 2007.
The dvds finally arrived nearly a month later and were faulty.
Also, they were taped off ti-vo, which immediately made me suspcious that this company was engaging in taping illegally and selling over the internet.
Since this past August, 2007 I have sent repeated e-mails to this company to have the dvds returned. I have been answered by women with no last name who politely assure me that a postage-paid envelope is coming with the authorization number. Since December, 2007 I believe this company is not being truthful and has no intention of processing my return, and is dishonorable.
I placed a complaint last week with the Better Business Bureau and have just receieved an e-mail from them that correspondence sent by the BBB to TV Addicts/DVD Avenue has come back to them as "undeliverable". The BBB provided information they received about this company that was full of complaints by consumers, mostly consumers being ignored/unanswered. Whenever I call the number, no matter what time of day or night, a recorded message plays to call back at another time. This company is a con. I will continue to pursue my return to my satisfaction and to look for a government agency to close them down. They are disreputable.

Charged for product - never received

I placed an order in November, 2007 for the Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts. The product was charged to my credit card (more than my original receipt stated) and the DVD's were never received. I have made repeated attempts to contact them and was able to make contact through their on-line chat. They provided me with a tracking number through the Canada Post, but Canada Post tells me there is no such tracking number. I have contacted my credit card company to stop payment to this vendor. Just like the others I have read, it is impossible to reach them by phone. I did receive one e-mail response from them, but when I tried to reply, the e-mail kicked back and indicated the e-mail address was insufficient. Definitely a company to stay away from. I too, wish I would have known about this website before ordering. Good Luck to everyone who unfortunately placed an order with them!

				item paidd for never received

Bought the Red Green show entire series for 158.99 plus 28.79 shipping; total of $187.78. three days later my card was charged 192.42.

Nothing happened for three weeks called them and was told that it would be another two weeks. That passed as well.
Now the customer service line is never answered. I tried the live chat and was told that my item shipped that very day was given some canadian post tracking number but the canadian post has no record under that tracking number.

Now it is to the bank and fill out paper work.
