They took my tickets
AC/DC in Tacoma WA
Here's my big Screw you from Ticket Master.
My youngest daughter and I (I'm 56) joined the ACDC Fan club to get presale ticket codes as two separate member accounts. We then waited until the tickets went on sale through Ticketmaster. We used two separate accounts and got 2 tickets on each account. So far all was good. We then paid for the tickets and got the sale Order Numbers for the 2 sets of tickets, one email to my daughter’s email and one to my email. We then checked for Hotels in the Tacoma area near the Dome and found two rooms on the event night at the Marriott in downtown Tacoma.
I checked my bank statement the following Monday and there were 2 separate charges for the tickets. My youngest daughter Jill and I were going to use the main floor third row tickets and my oldest daughter Libby and her fiancée Jobe who would drive in from Baker Oregon would use the section 15A Row 9 tickets. After I checked my bank statement that day on 9-22-08 I didn't look at it again until the day before concert on 10-30-08. I did not look the whole report over, I had read up from the bottom and saw the 2 sales on 9-22-08. So we planned an expensive trip and overnight stay in Tacoma. I received email notices about tickets but not what tickets. So as you might get by now we arrived at the Tacoma Dome with 4 people and there were only 2 tickets because the main floor row 3 tickets had been canceled. Not only that the lady working the computer kept saying that I had canceled the tickets. As we were going over the ticket problem with the paperless ticket people one of the ladies looked at my statement and proceeded to give me hell for me canceling the 3 row tickets on 9-29-08 and was now trying to scam her. And yes there it was 7 days latter, 40 transactions later and a page away from the sales. I did not cancel the tickets and just want to know what happened? We played by the rules and did everything with two separate accounts for everything except we used my credit card for both sales. Why did the tickets get canceled 7 days later? Who canceled them? Was this done to resale the tickets at a higher price elsewhere so one of the Ticket Master partners could sell them for more money? So put yourself in my place it's 8pm in Tacoma one hour before the show and your told "to bad, there's nothing we can do!”
Like I told the lady at the booth "why would I cancel 3 row seats for what might be the last time to see ACDC?” What happened?
I will confess I don't read my bank statements unless there is something wrong. I do check for transactions that are important and might go for months without looking at it. So there is some fault on my part.
What I want to know is who the F--K canceled my 3rd Row next to the stage walkway tickets?
I still have all the paperwork showing these tickets sales so it was not a dream. This was an extremely bad way to learn about the darkside of Ticketmaster

Unauthorized Charges
Mary J cancelled her show in Baltimore. I had tickets to send my husband there for our anniversary (he loves Mary). I had a whole event planned around this show and was disappointed when it was cancelled. I then found out that she had a show in NJ which was not that far so I called Ticketmaster back to buy the tickets to find that the money that I spent on the Baltimore tickets was not credited back to me yet. So I placed the tickets on hold for 3 days. After three days the money still wasn't there and I lost the tickets (so the ticketmaster customer service rep said). I was upset. I changed my focus to a football game instead. When I went to buy the tickets for the football game my money was not there still. I called my credit card company to see what was going on and the money was credited but Ticketmaster charged again fo the NJ tickets after I was told that they could not hold them any longer. I was livid... I did not purchase these tickets and was lead to believe that they were gone. When I found out I called Ticketmaster to see what happened and to refund the purchase and was told that it was too late. They told me that once I gave them my information they had the right to charge it. I couldn't fight it through my bank because they didn't handle Ticketmaster disputes (even though I didn't authorize the purchase-go figure) nor with the vendor because the money was gone. Now I am trying to contact someone from Mary's staff to give me a refund to no avail. This was my worst anniversary EVER!

Ticketmaster Family
I'm being charged $4.60 twice in one day for some kind of entertainment rewards I didn't sign up for...Ticketmaster claimed they had no idea why I would be charged these fees unless a concert was cancelled?? Yeah, right!

Idiotic company!
Today I tried to buy four tickets to see Chicago and the Doobie Brothers at the Sleep Train Pavillion in Concord, CA. Une 7, 2008. The tickets were advertised as $79.95 for a four-pack for lawn seats. When I tried to purchase them, there was a $7.65 convenience charge per ticket, a $4.50 facility charge, per ticket. More to get them mailed. So my question is: where is the charge for the toilet paper I may use, the water to flush the toilet, the paper towels, the lawn maintenance fee, the air surrounding the Pavillion that I have to breathe and the security guards uniform fee? This should be worth another $100 to them! It certainly is worth over $30 for some minimum wage worker to hand me four tickets!! Why don't they hire four people for minimum wage and take an hour to each give me ONE ticket. I am sure these poor minimum wage people MUST take an least an hour per ticket to make it CONVENIENT for me. I personally, will NEVER buy a ticket from ticketmaster again. This is the ultimate rip off. Almost as good as all the extra fees tacked on by banks when you borrow money for a home... like the interest they charge is not enough!!

Terrible customer service!
I made a mistake and purchased tickets to the Disney on Ice Nemo show in the wrong city. I live in Denver and somehow purchased tickets for Minnesota. I called Ticketmaster.com and they told me they could not do anything for me. They were not willing to refund or exchange the tickets. It tooks 3 calls to get to talk to a supervisor, the first and second time I got hung up on when I asked for a supervisor and the final time the supervisor was unsympathetic and was not willing to do anything. I am not going to use ticketmaster.com anymore which is going to be hard since I have a 4 year old and ticketmaster.com has a monopoly on the ticket sales business.
