I purchased a DVD box set for my husband Dec 3 '07 , by Dec 18th I was worried it had not arrived. I e-mailed them to find out what was wrong I did receive an e-mail telling me there was a problem at customs and the package should arrive by the 21st in time for Christmas. Today is the 9th Jan'08 I have sent several e-mails to this company indicating I did not receive my order. I also sent copies of the Canadapost and USPS tracking info via e-mail and get zero response from them. They have a notice on all pages of their web site saying they have had delivery problems and will issue full refund just contact them immediately and they are no longer taking orders. I have just today sent at least 10 e-mails again with no response from there 24-7 e-mail staff.

I ordered a set of justice league dvds for a christmas present on the 8th of November costing $74.99 after three emails to the DVDPLANET.ORG i have still not received the goods. They have emailed me back every time stating there are problems with shipping and customs delays all i can say to that is what a complete load of nonsense!!! I have asked for a refund and all this company can say is sorry for the delay be patience. I urge anyone not to buy from this company as you will not receive the goods. I have also read the report from the so called manger of this company which really made me laugh!!! The only reason they have stayed in business for over 5 years is due to RIPPING off naive customers like myself who trusted them.

I ordered a $79.99 dvd on December 7 and was billed but never received product and never even received an e-mail.

Never received an email from them, they billed my credit card and never received my product that I ordered from them. Plus I cannot get a hold of them. No phone# the email does not go thru.

On November 13,2007 I ordered a 'WKRP in Cincinnati' 4 disc set (SKU112013) at a cost of 52.99, USD. My credit card was billed for this amount by Universal Gift Ventures, Mississauga, ON November 16, 2007. I received a notification via e-mail on November 20 that my order, 638538, had been shipped, tracking # CE512799944CA, with an anticipated delivery date of November 27-30. This tracking number was invalid with both Canada Post and USPS.

The order did not arrive.

On November 30, an e-mail was received from [email protected] thanking me for my patience. It stated my order had been shipped to the wrong address, and was being reshipped. No tracking numbers were given. The post said their shipping system was down, and all orders were being shipped manually. Expected arrival was given for December 6-8. I sent an e-mail to [email protected] asking what address the order was shipped to, and said that a correct address had been given when the order was placed. I received no reply.

On December 13, I contacted DVDPlanet.org with my concerns, and received the following e-mail:

Hello,
Your replacement order has been shipped out already. It was due Dec 6-8th, but with the busy Christmas season, a small delay can be expected.Your order should be there within a matter of a few business days.

Today is Monday, December 17, 2007. I have yet to receive the order which my card was billed for on November 16.

In light of this, and the numerous reports from other consumers which are virtually identical to mine, there is no choice but to believe the worst. I have contacted DVDPlanet.org and requested a full refund be credited to my card by close of business (3 pm CST) Friday, December 21, 2007.
