Disrespective Team Leader
I am a retiree of target in california and virginia stores. No gray and black are the dress code for uniform. A team leader suppose to set the example. Not wearing clothes sloppy a shirt hanging outside their pant and dirty shoes and wrinky pants and nasty rule mouth. Proper uniform brown belts and shoes red khaki pant. No team member should have cellular phones on the floor. Only team leader and management should have phones. Yesterday the girl in food avenue was standing behind the wall on the phone. I stood their 9 minutes waiting for to waited on me. Her name was Tastra . No pockets or purse or backpack are supposed to be these area. to prevent theif. All Team members are suppose to be well groom. No bedroom shoes or sippers of any kind. This is a family store no gospel standing around gospeling with friends when they come in. No profanity thier are kids in the store on the time. When I mention this to the store manager. He response thier is not much he can do. Sally is the Team leader that dress sloppy. I mention to her about the insect poisons need to be put on a higher self for satefy of the kids. she response oh well. She was very disrespective. her attitude she does not care. This is the worse store 1872 I have never been in. Since I retired from Target. I was going to bring it to the New Media. I will let you know this store does not use any of the rules and regulation . We were trained by. The even hide stuff in the barn. When a visit come comes from head offices and the make team member are there who have questions. Susan worked with clerial was actually talking on the floor in food avenue during the week about team member she does not like. This is inexcusable behavior. She was very rule when I called to say to the HR. He was not available. Management need to change with some positive target training. The team member name Tastra did not clean up. Her response was she was in a club late. That is something to tell a guestor employee in front of a guest.

Irresponsible and unprofessional behavior
I am a team member at the target store in Monroe, Louisiana and we have a senior team leader whom left money out in the store over night. The money was left at the front lanes by the cashier registers. Her name is Ashley Hill. She is the senior team leader in softlines. Our store number is 1469 located in Monroe, Louisiana. Her acts were irresponsible and unprofessional.

I was very upset by their treatment
On October 6, I visited store number2547 in West Melbourne, Florida to make a return. The first person I spoke to-Jim- was very courteous. The next-Diane-was fine. I know I had a problem that would not easily be taken care of. I had a game CD that I had returned two times because every time I put it in the drawer of my computer, it popped right back out. I do understand about copyright laws, but I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and cannot keep traveling back and forth to keep returning a CD that is defective. My question is how can one tell a CD won't work until one opens it and inserts it into the computer? I asked to speak to Diane's supervisor. She called June-the LOD- to the customer service desk. When she got there, she already had an attitude and a stare on her face that really let me know she didn't care at all about my problem. She stared straight through me and before I could say anything, she said the same thing the others said. When I tried to say something, I asked her three times if she was even listening to me since she had this glazed look on her face. I finally asked Jim if he could put me in touch with someone I could complain to since it was obvious June wasn't going to even listen to me. He gave me a card to fill out and this internet address was on it. I would like to return the defective CD and get my money back. If you can assist me, I would greatly appreciately it. I do not, however, appreciate being treated the way June treated me. I was very upset by her treatment.

Do not care about their customers
I recently shopped in your store and purchased some wine. I was insulted when they asked for my ID. I am 64 years old. I shop at Walmart, Meijer, Kroger, and our local store Martins. I am never asked for an ID. Also I had many bags at checkout and no on helped to put them in the cart. I had to hold up the line to put them in my cart! This is ridiculous that you have no baggers or even put them in a cart for customers. Every store I shop at takes care of you. You need to update your whole checkout system! There is too much competition and you are at the bottom of where I will shop next time!

Avoid at all costs
We were interested in buying a window fan and wanted to know the shipping cost. At Target.com you have to give them your name, address, and FULL CREDIT CARD DETAILS just to find out the shipping cost!! We checked five other major websites and all of them quote shipping cost up front or just ask for your zip code then give you the shipping cost - no personal details or credit card details required!
We wrote to Target.com's customer service dept. and they responded TWICE by saying they can't just give us the shipping cost because it depends on several things. It was a "canned" response which they repeated a second time. And, they said just give us all that personal info and you can cancel the order at the last moment if you don't like the cost. They say they don't retain any of that info if you cancel before hitting the final Submit button. But, when we returned to the website later, they still had our personal information!
Five other online stores including Sears.com, Lowes.com, HomeDepot.com, KMart.com and Costco.com all provided shipping cost WITHOUT making you enter personal information (other than your zip code maybe). So, if you value your privacy, don't shop at TARGET.COM.

Shipping
I ordered a Nintendo Wii console from Target.com on Wednesday 12/09/2009. I received a confirmation email regarding the order stating that the estimated delivery dates would be 12/15/2009 to 12/18/2009. There was no tracking number included in the email, so I sent a email to the customer service requesting the tracking number. I received the UPS tracking number via email the next day. Today (12/15/2009) when I checked the tracking number on the UPS website at about 7 AM, I discovered that the order had arrived at the Horsham, PA depot at 1:22 AM. That depot is 15 minutes from my house. I assumed that the gaming console would be delivered this morning. At approximately 11:30 AM, the UPS delivery driver dropped two packages on my front porch. I was surprised when I brought the packages in, that neither was from Target. I called UPS and asked why the gaming console had not been delivered. They responded that the package had a delivery date of 12/18/2009 and that is when it would be delivered. I told the woman that I could pick it up, but she responded that they had to attempt at least one delivery before I could pick it up. I happen to find out that it was really Target that sets the date when the order is delivered and so I called them. They refused responsibility and said that it was UPS who decided when a package was delivered. I also want to take this time to give kudos to NewEgg.Com. I don't know how many times I have placed an order with NewEgg.Com and received the order the next day. Last July, I placed an order for a 37" LCD Samsung TV at about 3 PM on a Wednesday and it was delivered to me by 10:30 AM Thursday AND the delivery was FREE! This past Sunday (12/13/2009), I placed an order for a LinkSys wireless adapter and it was delivered today (12/15/2009) by 11:30 AM AND the delivery was FREE!

Unauthorized charges
The short and simple: Someone got a hold of my bank card and used it to make a bunch of purchases. My bank canceled the card but not before a purchase was made on Target.com for $250. I called them today, the very same day of the transaction hoping to stop the shipment and make it easier to get my money back. No one could help me. They claim to not I called back later thinking maybe I had just got a rookie, nope. After a 15 minute phone call with an Indian accented woman who couldn't understand that I wasn't trying to return something I had to give up and let the order ship. I'll let the police handle it and just hope I can get my money back. Thanks for nothing Target.

One hour photo - 3 days and counting1
Just a warning to those doing some last minute christmas card ordering online at Target.com. I would recommend calling ahead to make sure the location you choose for pickup can accommodate your order.
We placed our order 3 days ago for a set of xmas cards, 1 hour processing time.
We selected the closest Target and placed our order. We went in the next day and were told there were not ready yet. Not a big deal. We were disappointed since we were told 1 hour processing and we gave them a whole day, but no big deal. We were told to come back in the next day. Well we make the trip over to Target again the next day only to be told our cards are still not ready. At this point, I became a bit frustrated and inquired what the problem was and when could we expect to get them? They replied they had no estimation as to when my cards would be ready, and that their machine had been broken since last week.
Now, I understand that equipment breaks and they can't do anything about it, but why didn't you tell me this the first time? Or better yet, why didn't someone call me when you received me order to tell me about the problem so I could send them to another Target? Had I not inquired what the problem was, they would have sent me away again only to return the next again disappointed.
So at this point I'm fine with it, I just want my order sent to another Target. They tell me they can't do that, and I'm going to have to re-create my card on their website and re-submit my order to another Target. Ok fine.
So I go home (tonight) and login to their website to re-create my card and re-submit my order. Well now their website keeps crashing! I have not been able to get past the "Add to my cart" button without it locking my entire computer up.
I'm about to give up... =)
