Target should be ashamed of themselves
1-12 cape coral fl veterans/santa barbara store - asking clerk for help locating pots & pans - "no speaka english" was reply. then i asked if she could direct me to someone who did. she had no problem getting someone. why with our unemployment so high don't we atleast employ people that are citizens and speak english. i could understand it if these non-speaking english people worked only after store hours. target should be ashamed of themselves.

Very disappointing experience
My husband and I went to the Target store in West Sacramento, CA one Sunday morning to make a small purchase. When we got to the register, a woman was assisting a white gentleman in front of us. She was extremely courteous to him and at the end she wished him a good day. When it was our turn, she didn't greet us at all...not even a smile. The only time she spoke was to give us the total of our transaction. After I gave her the money, she gave me the bag and did NOT wish us a good day. There was another white gentleman behind us and we overheard her give him a very pleasant and elaborate greeting. Very disappointing.

Customer service needs to be improved at the Augusta Maine Target store in the photo department
Customer service needs to be improved at the Augusta Maine Target store in the photo department. My prints were done in seconds but to be waited on took more time than it should, store personnel, Crystal, waited on others before she acknowledged that I was standing there! Did not even thank me as a customer for shopping there!!

If this is Target's normal practice we will not be shopping there again and will discourage others as well
We were given a Thermo-Fridge and Warmer by a relative for Christmas (purchased at Target in Springboro, Ohio) for $25.00. We were also given the same item from another relative. On December 27 we tried to return one of them to the Jackson, Tn. Target Store. We live in Corinth, Ms. and this is the closest store to us (65 miles away). We were told that your store would only refund $12.50 on this item with no receipt. When someone gives you a gift they don't normally include the receipt which they have disposed of now. We did not return the item because this is simple robbery of your customers. Is there anything else we can do? Please respond to this email as soon as possible. If this is Target's normal practice we will not be shopping there again and will discourage others as well.

I don't know if i will ever return to this Target
I love shopping at Target, but not the Target in Porterville. There is always a problem that happens everytime i shop there. A few weeks back my partner and i were at the Porterville location, my partner has to have the riding cart since he has very bad knees, all the carts (5) were dead so i asked for the manager who explained to us that they had been used all day, but it was morning and soon we were joined by an elderly lady wanting a cart and when the male manager told her the same false story she said she was going to Wal-mart and left. Went back today, partner got a riding cart that died way at the west side of store so i had to push it back to check out. We purchased many items including cereal: Post Grape Nuts Family Size, price on shelf under plastic was 3.79 so when we had checked out i looked at the reciept and see that i was charged 4.14. I realize that the difference isn't that great unless your a big chain like Target and small change can add up as we customers are decieved by false prices posted on store shelves. I went to customer service and explained to a nice clerk, i asked for the store manager since i wanted an explanation store manager IREN was called up. I told her of the over charging and asked why, she never answered or gave eye contact. She then had an employee do a price check which took a long time. I wondered was Iren having a bad day or does she not like working at Target. We had paid for our purchases with EBT and Iren asked if i had my card, i told her no that it was in my car (partner), "well i have to have it or no refund" she barked. So i went and got it and yes i was angry by this time. Came back she gave me the refund and still no explanation of the over pricing. I don't know if i will ever return to this Target. Wal-Mart isn't my favorite store to shop but after all this i can get get treated like a human being there.

Take you business elsewhere
On 11/23/09 I contacted your Elmhurst NY store to verify if you had any Rival 16 quart ovens that were on sale for $22.00 while supplies last. I called at 8:26 in the morning ang request to speak with the Appliances Dept. finally after being on hold until 8:42 I got a voice who diod not identify themselves just said "Appliances" I inquiried whether they had any of the Rival ovens on sale for $22.00 available The gentelman (slight hispanic accent, sounded maybe in his early twenties and spoke low)assured me "yes, we have plenty" I asked again are you sure I work down at Wall Street (the lower part of Manhattan) and I don't want to make the trip there if I could get it at you Brooklyn location. I leave early get to the Elmhurst store to find out they were sold out since 11/22/09. Now, everyone whats to know who told me they were in stock but I notice no one like to identify themselves when they answer the telephone; even the operator. I requested to speak to the manager (MaryLou) who would not take the time to speak with me ( poor customer service behavior) I ended up speaking with a manager over the cashiers which gave me as much halp as if I spoke with the janitor. I have been a customer at you Whitestone location since 1999 and used Targets as my Wedding Gift Registry in 2007. You have a cahnce to make this right since the staff show incompentency I would like a rain check for the RIVAL 16-qt OVEN priced at $22.00. I would like to continue to do my business with TARGET, I buy a get deal of merchadise with you but this issue (I hate incompatency) would have me take my business elsewhere.

I will not be returning to their store
I object to your store policy of scanning my driver's license when buying wine this week at your store. I'm 64 years old and don't look like I'm 30, or less. I consider the scanning of my driver's license as an invasion of my privacy! I've never run into said request previously. Carding (looking at their ID to validate their age) someone under 30 is quite understandable. However, there is no excuse for your store's policy under any circumstances. Your company's need to police your employees should not infringe on my privacy, of that of any other shopper.

I will not be returning to your store. Walmart knows how to treat their customers with respect.

Why advertise something and don't have it in stock
I have been looking for the Princess Tiana Doll since it was advertised in the Sunday sale section of the local paper. I went Sunday morning to the local Spring Valley, New York Target and was told they only had one in stock. I asked when they would have another shipment coming in and was told they don't know. I have gone to two separate stores and they don't have it in stock. I have called the stores everyday since Monday and nothing as of today Friday. Why advertise something and don't have it in stock. This isn't the first time this has happened. I am getting a little leery of Target and their advertised sale items.

Can not hire pleasant employee
My husband recently had a heart attack. I had just gotten him out of the hospital and went to target to pick his medicine. It was 1:45 pm in the afternoon I ask PRECIOUS (tech's name) if I could please get this medication filled before the pharmacy tech went to lunch she said the pharmacist was about to go to lunch and would return between 2:30 or 3:00 when I ask her if it would be 2:30 or 3:00 this tech yelled at me and said "I said she would be back around 2:30" I left the medicine which was over 200.00 and went back at 3:00 to pick up. I have since transfered all of my medicine to another pharmacy THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS PHARM TECH HAS BEEN RUDE AND HATEFUL to me.

WHY CAN'T TARGET IN BESSEMER HIRE PLEASANT EMPLOYEE'S.

Avoid at all costs
I purchased a pack of 56 up&up whitening dissolving strips. Although I do hope they will whiten my teeth I have get to find out because I get frustrated trying to peel the backs off. Perhaps a little tab at one of the corners would help.
