Awful quality kitchen bags
I have not complained about a product for over 30 years and taht was the only othere time I ever complained. BUT I have bought a box fo 55 tall kitchen bags from Target and they are trash themselves. The tops of the bags fall apart, the handy new expandable drawstrings Do expand but rip out of the top of the bag as soon as you try to use them. I have used about 15 of the bags so far and they are all the same. I am now filling them just over half and tying off the top of the bag instead of trying to use the drawstring. First of the month when I get my check they become trash.

I'm sure Target will lose not only my business but that of my friends as well
I purchased an area rug on 2/5/10 and was unable to return the area rug by the 90 (5/6/10) Day return policy, due to family medical issues. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the rug, it just so happen to be that the rug colors didn't work with the area that I wanted to put it in, nor was it the right size. The store representatives were very friendly, but were unable to return the item at my original purchase price. They offered me $19.00 on an $80.00 rug. Are you serious? One of the managers offer customer support and said that they are able to make exceptions their that the store can't do. Well low and behold, I call customer support and I get this person that was not helpful at all. James as I believe his name was, kept telling me that they being "Target" were making the exception by giving me $19.00 for the rug. When I became persistent and asked to speak with a supervisr, I was told that I would be told the samething and sure enough I was, but the only difference was that the supervisor said that no one in the entire corporation would be able to make the exception of returning the area rug. I say BS! I've been in customer service before and I've also been a manager. I know that there is always an exception that can be made. I am highly disappointed in the service that I received and the POLICY that I was quoted. You never quote a customer your policy and you always try to do something for the customer. I wasn't asking for my money back, I was on asking for store credit to purchase another item. To give me $19 for a rug that I paid $80, will never make me step foot in another Target. My money is valuable to me and I'm sure that Target does not care, but I think that we as comsumers have busy lives and sometimes things happen that maynot allow us to get back to stores that we took the time out to goto in the first place and Tarket should be understanding of that. His rival store Wal-Mart seems to get it. To make the exception would be to return the rug, with the receipt and drivers license that they were so adamant that I have, and give me the purchase price in store credit to purchase another item within their store. Thate would be making the exception. I am extremely disappointed and upset. Target is not a cheap place to shop and to insist that I should just be satisfied with them giving me $19.00 and even accepting the return really pisses me off. Target, I would suggest that you revamp your policy and re-educate/train your customer servie reps. Constantly apologizing, but not offering any type of resolution doesn't do anything for the customer. I will be sure to tell all of my friends and family of this situation and I'm sure Target will lose not only my business but that of my friends as well. Times are hard now and no one has money to allow these big businesses or companies to take from them.

Manager with bad attitude towards customers
I went to a Target in Ft. Lauderdale, FL to purchase nicotine lozenges to help me continue to quit smoking. The cashier said company policy she had to swipe my driver's license to prove age. I refused as there is other information they can get from that, invasion of my privacy and I am 66 years old an I look it! I offered to show my medicare card. She called a manager, Sahna, to override, which she did but then the manager said nothing and made a very audible huh sound as she quickly walked away before I could say anything. I will not be insulted for being a customer. Next time Wal Mart.

Stay far away from them
I purchaced a pack of flour tortillas at the Target store in Harmar Pa. It had a coupon for $1.00 off 1lb or more ground beef with purchase of tortillas. The problem is that this target does not carry any ground beef! I had even asked for assistence from 2 of the employees there and was told that they do not carry ground beef. Who also were not willing to let me use the coupon even though they did not carry the item and it is a target only coupon!I was told that they might carry it at the Super Targets. There are no Super Targets around here and why would you have a coupon on a product and not carry the other item that you need to use the coupon!?

They need to go underground like on the tv show to learn the workings of their store
I needed to add minutes to my phone card and asked about a promotion that I heard on the AT&T line. NO one had any idea what to do. Several associates including department heads could help. Finally Shevan in Customer Service took the time, made some calls and got it resolved. I think at the least management should inform sales personnel at what is going on. They need to go underground like on the tv show to learn the workings of their store.

This is the only store that will not try to make a customer happy
I tried to return some new unused items that my daughter did not wear. I went to the store in Atwater, California. This is the only store that will not try to make a customer happy. I did not want any cash back, and per their policy if it is over 90 days you are not allowed to return any items without a receipt. Now, really come on. I have worked in retail for 10 years and I am aware that they can resale the items on clerance.

I was very disappointed! I spoke to the supervisor who said the same thing. I called the 1800 number for assistance and again was told the same thing. I really was not happy. Now i am stuck with these items that I dont have any use for. This store has lost a good customer. I would shop there 3 times a month. Not any more. Now you tell me is it worth losing a very loyal customer and several others (family and friends) because target refused to give me store credit for items that did not have a receipt. Very Bad Customer Service Never Again Will I Shop at Target...

One of employee was very rude and argumentative
My daughters purchased a CD in Jacksonville, for my birthday & because the cashier was having problems with the paper roll for receipts, she asked if they really needed the receipt. They advised yes because it's a gift so the manager reluctantly went to her office to print one.

The CD was damaged so I went to my local Target to exchange. The GSTL "Melena" was very rude & argumentative, stating I could not use that receipt because it didn't have a "V something number & this is what she always tells her guests. When I told her my daughters had specifically told the Jacksonville Manager they needed it as it was a gift, Melena continued to argue that it wasn't any good & again & again told me she always tells her guests this. I did not want a refund, simply an exchange for the exact same CD. She continued to be snippy & argumentative. I found this to be very unprofessional.

I go to this Target a minimum of 2 - 3 times a week & almost always purchase goods so I don't appreciate being treated in this manner & as much as I have always liked Target, this has given me a bad taste & I will not frequent the store as often as I have in the past

Slight flaw in the advertising
Just wanted to point out a slight flaw in the advertising for the week of 16Mar10 it would seem that you forgot to mention any other sales of DVDs or Music for this week but you did mention with (2) pages for new moon. Now I know its going to be a big seller but in my humble opinion you might want to consider other target viewer groups especially the ones that visit and buy twice a week and do not care about new moon. The DVDs and music that you failed to advertise will now be purchased at other retail outlets because I can not afford to make a trip to Target not knowing what item you will be having on sale and again I am not looking for new moon.

Very disappointed in my shopping experience at Target
Heard about the great clearance Target has everyday and as a new quest I got to the Daphne, Ala store at opening at 8 oclock.Sure enough at the register saw cashier checking out a team member, later to find out team leader of the pricing depart.with quite a few 75% off items. So i hurry to the clearance ailse to grab some good deals and all I saw was some rewrapped items with some 30% items. Boo Hoo to store 1274. Your team leader uses her position to acquire all the great deals for your guests for her benefit. What kinda store policy do you have and where is the HR manager to speak to about issues. BooHoo to Target 1274. In the meantime very thankful for all the other finely run business' in Daphne, AL. Very disappointted in my shopping experience at Target.
