I won't be buying them again
I purchased the Up & Up brand of regular absorbency Maxi pads and am very disappointed with them. They are very thick and uncomfortable, like the old- fashioned kind of pads. They also leak around the edges. I won't be buying them again!

Is it Target's policy to inconvenience a customer
Target needs to reconsider their hiring process. My friends' children work as managers at Department stores and recognize that customer service is what affects the bottom line. These ladies are young but have degrees and brains! I was at the Irvine Target and had the displeasure of dealing with a manager with the IQ of my shoe size named Susan Roysden. I had come - with a receipt - to return a DVD that did not work. It had already been exchanged once and I refused to exchange it the second time as it was clearly a bad batch. After a 15 minute battle of raised voices in front of other customers and her total refusal to return my money she agreed to change it for the 3rd time. I accepted - went to another Target and returned it. Now you tell me!! Is it Target's policy to inconvenience a customer like this? What sense did that make. The DVD was open when I returned it so she did not want to take it back. She quoted the "law" to me that it was Target's policy and no Government policy could override it. REALLY??? So she exchanged it for an unopened one that I could return?? Go figure!! THAT my friends was VERY intelligent. Would you not say?

Very disappointed in Target policy
Very disappointed in Target policy. Received angel as a gift at Christmas and it worked for two week's when the light's on the top half went out. Tried to fix by their direction;s, could not. Called number on the box, no help.went to Gurnee, Il store no help, callled Minnesota no help. Because we do not have a receipt or gift receipt, no one want's to claim resposibility.Every one said it is a seasonal item and the numbers are out of the system. Now I have a 69.99 angel that doesn't work. Thought a big Corp. like Target would stand behind what they sell especially with their name printed on the box. WRONG. Myself and daughter's will not shop at Target any More.

Stupid employees
First time and last time that I ever go to the target that is located on sepulveda/Burbank. As I was walking on a main aisle there were two cleaning ladies/ employees cleaning the floor with paper towels(with no caution/floor wet sign posted) and as I was walking by with my cart and kids first thing that comes out of the employees mouth is"si se caen no es nuestra culpa para que andan de ensimosos" in English this means "if you fall is not our fault". My response to her was why don't you put some cones up. I went around her mess she was cleaning so why that comment? That's not something you say as you see a customer walking by. The rest of my visit at that store I was angry I was calling her very nasty names inside of me that she should be glad I didn't say to her face because I had my kids.

Lack of Integrity
I have worked for this company for a little over 2 years and can't believe all of the BS that goes on in this store. I worked for Wal-Mart before I worked for Target and I thought Target was supposed to be better than Wal-Mart. Well, I was wrong. The managers and human resources people have no control over their employees. They allow safety violations, threats, sexual harassment, and laziness to continue. The hard workers get the honor of doing most of the work and cleaning up after all the lazy workers' mistakes. Countless people sleep around and cheat on their spouses with fellow employees. Customer service and employee safety is NOT priority. Deadlines are not met. Short cuts are used so the supervisors "look good."

I complained about some of the lazy people who camp-out in the bathrooms for 20 minutes at a time, safety-violaters riding on equipment, employees lying to guests, and just plain NOT WORKING. The Flow Team supervisor told me that there's nothing she can do and that I was the one with the problem and should think about other employment. I also was told if an employee was not adjusting well to the job within the 90-day trial period that they are given more time to improve. I thought that was the whole point of the "trial period" to see if they were a keeper or not. It's stocking not rocket science! After a person has been passed through the 90-day trial period it takes at least 4 months before they can be terminated.

This same boss is also the one who has crossed the Supervisor-Associate boundary. She picks favorites and complains and fraternizes with employees under her. She has complained about an overweight Flow Team member, saying that he was too slow to do the job. She said this to a team member, not a Team Lead or ETL. She flirts with the male staff constantly. She's upset that her 20-something daughter was fired and now has to live with her.

There's one particular manager that is so selfish and wrapped up in his precious ad set, he doesn't answer the door or phones to let employees in. I was waiting outside for 30 minutes to be let in, no answered the bell or phones. So, I left and called back later to tell them not to count me as absent. I talked to the manager who didn't answer the door and I talked to the HR person. Idiots couldn't understand what I was telling them. Like i was just imagining things. He is still late to the door every hour on the hour that he is SUPPOSED to let employees in, early in the morning. That could be a safety hazard in itself. Someone could get mugged or raped in the dark and no one would know!!!

As far as training goes, we only have one trainer for the Flow Team. Any other training or advancement, you're on your own. Communication is lacking in the extreme. And forget about getting a good raise. We only get one raise a year and it is between 10 cents and a quarter. The supervisors wonder why certain team members are exhausted, frustrated, and tired of all the BS that they feed us. The TLs are so busy trying to get their scores up that they neglect the employees and don't babysit the ones that aren't working.

The only reason I have stayed this long is due to spite. Anyone thinking about working at or transferring to this store...DON'T!!! If you are a hard worker, you WILL be stuck with the work and care of the rejects. Any other hard workers around you will eventually quit and you will be stuck to clean up the mess and save the day.

Managers in Target are the laziest managers I have ever seen
I currently work at Target on yej Gold Coast in Australia and I am sick to death of the crap that goes on there. Whenever i walk past the manager's office they are all sitting in there all talking and doing nothing. Then i will walk back out into the store and the florr is absolutly trashed. I am not saying it is always the customers that mess it up but no matter how many time i clean my section it ends up horrible again.

The worst part is definatly the managers. They are always expecting us to have the highest quality standards when it comes to our tidy's.

All the managers just stand around and talk to each other and just dordle for an hr or more. They really are the laziest managers i have ever met. And then they only talk to you when they are having a yell at you. They yell at us for standing around and talking when they will stand there for ages. And they all have their favourites of the casual employees so if they are all late back from tea or lunch they don't get in trouble. A few of the girls were 10 minutes late back from lunch because i was meant to go so i was waiting, and they were in the managers office talking to them all. I AM SO OVER THE SLACKNESS OF THE MANAGERS.

ALSO!!! all the managers go out to the pubs and they even go clubbing with each other on the weekends. And then they add us all on facebook (which is where they publish all their wild night photos with each other) and try to get information like gossip and stuff on us employees and you will walk past their office and hear them talking about you. I've had that done to me twice and it's hurtful.

I AM JUST SO SICK OF THIS!

i can't leave this job at the moment either cause ive just finished school and there are no other jobs available. i need to keep this income.

IT IS SO FRUSTRATING!

Manager has no idea what her job means
Wanted to purchase an item that was on sale.I could not find the item.I asked a woman that was working in that dept. She was marking items and she said she did not know.Another woman showed me an item and said it was the item. That item was double what the ad said. She said she did not know.I went to cashier to pay for other items and asked for a manager. Becky responded. She said she could not help and it would be a good idea to leave. I would have thought since she was the "Manager" as a resolution she would have taken a flyer and looked for the item, if the item not in stock then issue a rain check. Instead she told me "It would be a good idea to leave and not come back any more" I then said I found it hard to believe in this day and age stores are not needing customers and she had a good handle on her job security. She told me to leave and not return as I was making her feel threatened and she would call security. I am 60 years old she was every bit of 20. I called the "Guest relations" which is another joke. All I wanted was an apology from Becky. I was told someone may or may not contact you. This is handled internally. I was then told by Justin I can interpret their actions any way I choose. If I feel that means don't shop in target anymore then so be it. I find this appaling. In ths day and age that you can't even get an apology from a manager that took a situation and made it escalate to this level. This is my idea of a wonderful shopping experience and I can bet I will never spend one dollar of my hard earned money to support such a company and improve their bottom line. They could all close tomorrow and it would not affect me. They sell nothing that can not be purchased at any other store. Perhaps they are not interested in their bottom line but it will not be improving with any help from me or my family. I will help spread this every place I can. Customer service is in India not even the US. Target does not care about the people that spend money in their store as was clearly portrayed today. The executives want nothing to do with the customer. They hide behind the guest relations in India. But take American dollars from the customer as pay. Wise up. You need to put the customer service in your store without the customer you will not need service.
In case you don't know this it is a privilage for a customer to shop in your store. Not a right.

Target evidently has no control over its cashiers
I went to Target today to buy some "canned air" to clean my keyboard. As I checked out, the cashier asked for my drivers license. I asked why, was told she had to scan it to keep the "canned air" from being misused. I had already had this experience at the same Target over buying wine. The cashier asked for my drivers license and scanned it without telling/asking me. The cashier for the wine said she had to and didn't know where the info went- "probably nowhere". the cashier today said the same. the cashier today said it was a "state law" to scan ID. Wrong. Target evidently has no control over its cashiers. Its easier to invade my privacy than to train their people. Today was giving Target "one more chance". No more chances.

I will never shop at Target again
I bought a product at a Target store for $20 and needed another one, which I found at another Target store; I called and was told the product was $29.00, although the sales person did say they would give it to me for the same price if I had my receipt. But when I got there I was told by the manager that she wouldn't honor that. She spoke to me has if I were a dumb waiter, even though I have 5 times the amount of education she has, and currently working on my PHd. I have never been so insulted and treated so poorly by anyone before. When she started telling me this is posted in the store, ALL STORES NOT HAVING THE SAME PRICE, I asked her to show me where it was posted. She then started to tell me it was on-line and TOLD me she wasn't going to argue with me; I WASN'T ARGUING WITH HER! I WILL NEVER SHOP AT TARGET AGAIN AND PLAN TO TAKE THIS TO THE PAPER, CORP. OFFOCES, AND ALL ELSE WHO WILL LISTEN. I'M ONLY GIVING PART OF THE STORE HERE BUT SHE SAID A LOT MORE WHICH LED ME TO BELIEVE SHE DIDN'T VALUE PEOPLE WHO PAY HER SALARY.

ABUSE
Do you see my website listed above. My cat ran across the key board and spelled it out..Weird. This is what it's suposed to say. http://hellstruth.blogspot.com/...No Yugh. But it fits. My cat knows better!

My newest installment has to do with the children running the Las Cruces, NM store into the ground. They have been harrassing all the older workers, that jeep the place going. They aren't bright enough to figure aout that for every upset employee you lose their business as well as the business of all their frinds and family.

Do how many years of incompetence and upsetting everyone is it that causes their good ship lollipop to sink...I don't know. But in the end 'the iceberg wins
