I received a call this morning on my cell phone from someone who immediately verified my name (and read out an address that I have not lived in since 2006) when I sold the house. Before even telling me who she was or where she was calling. I then said before I answer anymore of your questions who are you? She still never gave me her name but stated that she was calling from Tackard Group or something like that and that. Now that I am recollecting my thoughts I have received several calls from these people each time leaving a message and each time a different phone number. They claim I ordered children's books from my previous address. Take note that my youngest is 15 years old my oldest will be 20. Now what would posess me to order $91 something dollars in children's books? My thoughts exactly. Now, the people who bought my house has a 4-5 year old boy--who's to say they did not order these books from a solicitation that came in my name to my old address? When I told this person this and asked that she provide proof she said you can see the bill we sent on our website and said if I don't pay it my name will be put on the bad credit list for 7 years. I said I ain't paying nothing until you send me an itemized bill of what you are saying I bought she said since you refuse to pay I will post you name on the list and hung up while I was asking a question.
