charged for item did not receive
i ordered a disc from the company but did not receive it .i called them, a woman i spoke to said iwould receive credit for it a nd she would send timeme the disc, which she did . the mean i was not credit. ed on my credit card . please help me get it . it is for 69.99 o n a lowes visa card.. thank you p.s.it was billed 9/15/08 the last # on the is 1430

Bad service
over the past two months i have had countless viruses make it through norton. contacted technical support and they said that it is not possible for their software to capture all viruses, i have been with norton for years and their early software, even if it did not recognize the code would at least quarintine the virus.
the first time i had a problem i switched out my hard-drive and contacted cudtomer support, and was told i had a hardware issue. i knew this to not be true as i am adept at pc platforms, so i purchased another virus program and installed taking care of the virus. i thought o/k i will just forget about it and life goes on.
about two weeks later my pc started freaking out, malicious pop-ups etc. so i loaded the other software, deleted the viruses, turned norton back on and contacted norton customer support. i was then told windows had to have all the latest updates installed. i told the person on the other end of the chat that if norton says secure on the cover page that means that windows automatic update is on and it is up to date.
now here is where my problem truly lies, the tech support person then asked me if i wanted to have a tech look at my pc and find out what is going on, i replied o/k and then that person asked me if we should continue, which sent up a red flag. i then asked was there a fee for the tech looking into the error and was shocked that they wanted to charge me $99.99 for a problem that clearly lies within their software.
here is another kicker, if their software says my machine is secure, and it is truly not, should i not be compensated in someway for my remaining subscription fee. i was told i could only get a refund within the first 60 days and i have paid for 2 years of subscription. you be the judge.

Double Billing
On my master card billing for September I have been billed as follows:
9/3/08 DRI SYMANTEC MYORD.COM/SYMMN $39.99
9/5/08 NORTON ANNUAL RENEWAL 877-294-5625 CA $39.99
This is obviously a double billing. I should only pay one of these charges.
Please correct my billing or advise what we have to do to correct.

Double charged
You charged my Discover card on July 23 for $69.98 and again on August 7 for $49.99. It was for one subscription renewal and should only be charged once.

DOUBLE CHARGES FOR ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE ON CREDIT CARD
i DOWNLOADED VIRUS PROTECTION SOFTWARE BUT WOULDN'T COMPLETE BECAUSE WAS CORRUPTED (FROM SYMANTEC)...CONTACTED NORTON AND THEY SENT A REPLACEMENT DISC...TWO CHARGES APPEARED ON MY CREDIT CARD...ONE FOR 64.98 and one for 56.98...I need a credit to my mastercard

Renewing subscriptions
Symantec is awful when it comes making it easy and friendly for customers to renew subscriptions online. Their site simply does not work, i.e. does not allow you to renew.

spyware virus removal
i paid 99.00 for Spyware & Virus Removal Service, a 30 day program to eliminate spyware from pc. Was on for HOURS AND HOURS and HOURS. Got rid of problem but eliminate sw on machine including symantec antivirus sw. Now they are telling me to take my pc to the original provider! they will not fix the issues they created. Was on phone a second time for over 8 hours being bounced from agent to agent. They told me to take my issues elsewhere. When i asked for a refund they scheduled a time for customer service to contact me. I still have not been able to fix my pc or get a refund. What a SCAM!!! Stay away from this service.

charged twice for product
I was told I need to update my security, which automatically renews anyhow. When I did, through ignorance, I was charged twice for this service. There are two charges on my credit card bill, one for $129.98 and the other for 134.98.
This looks to me like a scam as the security updates automatically any, so there is a charge for that as well of $54.36
