Dear Complaints Department Manager;
On July14th, 2007, there was an autograph signing at your Mission Valley store. Mr. Tony Gwynn, the baseball Hall of Famer was autographing baseballs, caps, etc.
I’m a local San Diego artist and I painted a portrait of Mr.Gwynn, which he personally autographed at the Sprint store. I remember that there was a photographer from Sprint taking pictures that day. The photographer took several pictures of Tony and I with the painting.
I went to the Sprint store, located at 2307 Fenton Parkway, phone 619-624-2800, San Diego, Ca, to get the name of the photographer and to get copies of the pictures of Tony and I. While at the store I felt like I was treated like a criminal when I inquired about the photographer, the pictures and a video of that day.
I introduced myself to the manager who said that there was indeed a video of the event. He stated however, that the video was corporate property and he did not have the authority to produce the pictures for me.
I am a professional portrait artist. I paint celebrities and get their autograph. I just want to get some pictures of Tony and me for my family so they can see their father with the Hall of Famer. I would also like to have the photos to add to my celebrity collection.
Since these are the only photos of the event in existence, I seek your assistance with this matter. Your cooperation in helping me get copies of the photos and videos of the event would be greatly appreciated.
I have attached a picture of the autographed painting that Tony Gwynn signed at the store. You can contact me directly at (619) 298-7332 or, you can reach me by e-mail at [email protected].
Thank you for your time.
