I have called on numerous occassions to the South African Airways Voyager Call Centre to have missing miles updated to a Voyager account. I was requested by the Call Centre agen that the original boarding passes need to be posted via registered mail in order for the miles to be allocated. This was done and in the time SAA had an apparent system crash in Feb/March 2011 and was unable to retireve scanned information of the boarding passes. Afterspeaking to dozens of agents I was then only informed of this matter at the end of June 2011. Witht the system crash SAA has offered their client no alternate way of assisting them. We should wait up until it is restored. 4 Months later and still no way forward. I was then informed by the team leader of the department that the documentation has now been located and that this will be loaded. This conversation took place on 5 Jjuly 2011. Still we are having no joy as to when this account will be credited with the missing miles. I then spoke to the team leaders superior and he has promised to call me back and forward me written confirmation on 18 July 2011. He still has not called back or even sent written confirmation. As leaders, these two gentleman should walk the talk of customer service, yet they too lack this as the call Centre Agents. This is our National Carrier that cannot even do the basics correct. Please assist in having these missing miles allocated and letting SAA know that they really need to jack up their pathetic service they render to the Nation.
