Scam and lies
I purchased 4 sets of these for $20.00 plus a free jumbo lid. Shipping was $36.75 and I did not receive the jumbo lid as promised. The lids are also too small to fit most containers.

Learn from my mistake!
I have my email print out which states I purchased one set of Smart Lidz and a free set - Should have been $26. I find that they multiplied the amount x 4 and charged me $67.70. Because there is no return of S&H, I will be out almost all of my cost, even if I do return them, paying my own return. I should have known - I usually do not succomb to infomercials! Learn from my mistake!

Almost felt in their trap
I was sitting on my couch on a Sunday morning and saw the commercial for Smart Lidz . Just like everyone else... I loose lids through the years. I was going to order them...hey, 2 for the price of 1. Good deal. After reading all of the reviews and seeing all of the frowny faces, I laughed and told my husband, "Thank God for Customer Service Reviews". I am thankful that I read your feed backs.

Rip off
My purchase price for the product is 17.95 - My Postage and handling is for 23.85 - A total of 41.80 - I did not see this customer service review website or I would have never bought this. I really did not think Chef Tony would be involved with this kind of junk / rip off.
Then, I read that this product is made in China. I wonder just how much lead or Melmamine maybe in the product. I am trying my best not to puchase products made in China - not only to keep business here in the States but because of China's continuing neglect for public safety.

Scam charges
I purchased the lids as advertised for $10. When they arrived I found that the shipping cost was an additional 23.35 (they could have given the lids for free and obvioulsy still made money). I then found that the lids did not work. I called to ask for a refund and was told that all would get back was the $10 I paid for the lids and not the shipping. This is out right deception and FRAUD. If the product worked maybe I would have swallowed hard and accepted the shipiing charge screw job but when the product did not that was an entirely different situation.

Awful experience
First of all I skipped through all the extra crap of their pressure selling I just bought the lids and I got the extra set as well but they did send me a receipt on my yahoo account and it had a total of in on there it said i would be charged 15.90 but it never gave me a total on shipping so i didnt know i would be charged the extra 10.00 which from all of these other reviews and complaints i got off cheap (not) but anyway yeah they suck, they stay on for like 10 minutes and pop up i was very upset since i threw away all of my old tupperware and lids and kept only some bowls thinking i would save space well im saving space allright but now i have nothing to put my left overs in i feel they owe me all brand new tupperware and my money back this is such a ripoff i cant beleive it how imbarassing for the chef toni dude i would hide my face in shame ... and yes im going to write consumer affairs and smart lids with my complaint...

Very upset customer
I ordered two sets of Smart Lidz which was supposed to be $10 each which the confirmation I received said would be $37.70. I received two boxes of lids. One box was $67.70 and the other was$ 75.65 which was $143 total. I then called Chef Tony's Smart Lidz in Wisconson. They told me they could give me a refund of $31.80 if I would keep them. So I have paid out $111.20 for lids I didn't order and don't want. Very upset customer.

What a rip off
After calling to order the lids, I too, like everyone here was frustrated at the total impossibility of ordering just what the tv commercial offers. However, I foolishly doubled the order and even ordered a set of knives just to try and get to the checkout!!! And my thanks is that my card was charged and I have never received anything!!! What a rip off!!! Someone should shut them down and there should be better regulations and guidelines if people want to sell on tv.

Unauthorized charges
I purchased smart lids from the official website smartlids.com My total with shipping should have been $23.85 and when they billed my credit card for $33.85. I've call the number on my conf page of my order but there is no way to talk to a human, I even hit zero about 5 times and it just hangs up, I tried the order part and it is all automated. I guess if they charge everyone and extra $10 they think we don't look at our credit card statements and it will just pass thorough, Well I'm through, I'm supposed to be picking them up today but I'm going to refuse the order.
