What a waste of money
I tried them on several different containers--The same result--They will only hold the vacuum for a few minutes. Bottom line--A waste of money.

Very disappointing product
Very disappointing product. In the Internet age, one would expect companies to put out products that mostly work. Thanks to all who bothered to review this item. Lesson learned - No future purchases without research!

Scammed and overcharged
I ordered smart lids and pd.$14.95 for postage on a $100.00 lids. I want to report charges, for stuff that doesnt even work. They will only pay my $10.. back after all this overcharege for sending me the lids that weigh hardly anything for this plastic. consumers has to be reported of their offenses. Its a scam, and consumers are bveing taken after you read all the reports, including mine. it is a rippoff.

Rip off and scam
Ordered and paid the big S&H price.. never received the Jumbo lids as promised, have used them and they have already ripped... I gave these as gifts. How embarassing... live and learn.

Overcharged
I thought I was purchasing a set for $10 and getting 2nd. Free. I paid for 2 sets, which I thought would be $20, and 2 free. They do NOT tell you shipping charges until your order goes through. There is no way to stop the order. I phoned the company IMMEDIATELY, wrote to them every day, with the same results NOTHING. I threatened to take up the case with Judge Judy. After this they refunded me about $40 in shipping charges. What should have cost about a total of $25, was billed more than $65. Shipping and handling came to over $50.

What a rip off
Unfortunately, I read the reviews after I made my purchase. All of the reviews were spot on. I purchased $39.95 of lids and never saw a total bill until the product showed up. My total came out to $115.45. I am notorious for saying that “You get what you pay for, " but in this case, it's not true. THEY DO NOT WORK AT ALL!! What a rip off.

Awful customer service
Automated order system created multiple orders. Customer service wouldn't cancel order as they said it had shipped; though the automated order tracking said it had not. Asked for tracking # which did not pull up order shipped. Then repeated calls to customer service not answered. I would never do business with this company again!

Do not buy them
SMART LIDZ SUCK BALLZ!!! On the commercial it shows chef phoney put the nuts and bolts or whatever in the tupperwear with the retard lid and it works? NO WAY! Mine broke from salad!!! Dont buy them! THEY SUCK!!!

Simply terrible
I bought these after being impressed with the commercial on them. Received them yesterday and tried 3 of them right away on leftovers i had in the 'fridge. All three of them came unsealed within 15 min.I thought i would do a little experiment and try them overnight with different types of bowls(plastic, metal, glass) Not one of them remained sealed by morning. To further agitate me, they only refund product cost, not shipping and handling. product $10, s&h $15.90. I am steamed.

Monumental rip off
I ordered my smartlid set by telephone which I would never do again. After receiving my credit card number, I was offered other products for the next 20 minutes at which time I hung up never reaching the end of the offers. I was astonished when my order arrived with $23.85 shipping and handling for something that weighs approximately 12 oz. The paperwork indicates that the Jumbo Smartlids are backordered which means another exorbitant shipping and handling charge. I have contacted my credit card company and authorized them to decline any more charges.
I urge everyone to buy their smartlids at someplace like Walgreens and save their money. WHAT A MONUMENTAL RIPOFF AND DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICE RESULTING FROM NON DISCLOSURE OF SHIPPING AND HANDLING.
