My daughter Arlene bought a 1998 Pontiac Sunfire with extended warranty at the cost of $2, 052.75 from the above mentioned dealer with the understanding that a full refund would be made at the end of
the contract period of August 21-08. The warranty was never used. Our daughter Arlene married in August 2002 and moved to Wales. At this time the car was given to me her father. Also, I asked at Slessor if this would affect the warranty and was assured that everything was fine. When it came time to recover the warranty fee we have been refused because the car was given to me and of course the ownership changed. We feel they owe the money to us because they gave us nothing for our money.
At the advice of our lawyer we wrote a letter to Peter Slessor February 8-06 asking for a response within 14 days nothing happened. Then our lawyer suggested a complaint to General Motors which was filed March 20-06 with no response. All we are asking for is a refund of our money as the contract guaranteed us.
