Their product is intended to reduce snoring and the symptoms of sleep apnea. They offer a 30 day satisfaction guarantee, however, they mean 30 days from date of purchase, not arrival which effectively reduces the trial period to three weeks.
I ordered a Sleep Wizard on 10-28-05 and received it on 11-5-05. I tried it for two weeks and determined that it was not effective for me. I e-mailed requesting authorization to return it and awaited a reply which directed me to their website for the procedure. As directed, I sent it via registered mail with a copy of my receipt enclosed, but by this time it was 12-1-05. Since I had notified them of intent to return, I assumed the refund would be honored. Wrong.
In late December, I e-mailed them asking about the credit to my credit card account. The reply claimed that processing takes longer around Christmas so wait 3-4 weeks. I waited, but still no credit. A second e-mail received no reply. So I called and got a very defensive reaction that simply fell back on the letter of their policy, not the spirit that suggests really supporting their product. It "must" be 30 days from date of purchase, no matter that I had emailed my intent to return. They make strong claims in marketing the product, but seem to rely on customers procrastination in returning it within 30 days of the date of purchase.
I paid $59.99 plus $10 s & h, so I expected a $59.99 credit fully accepting the shipping costs both ways. Better Business Bureau of SE Florida reports very unsatisfactory experience with this vendor so DiscoverCard is now investigating and seeking resolution for me. Potential customers to be aware of the ineffectiveness of the product and the people attempting to market it.
