Fraudulent billing
Cosby of Sirius called me 12/30/2010 and asked for updated billing info, which I gave.
She could not find any record of a credit I was supposed to receive toward my next bill, so I told her repeatedly and emphatically-do not bill...cancel service. She nagged me for 4 more minutes and I hung up.
I have been billed $177 and have no service. I spent 46 min on 1/3/2011 to "customer care", Kirby, who was useless.
I am to fill out a police report, then the charge will be canceled by my Visa issuer. I have also canceled that card, and filed an FTC complaint.
Customer service is worse than negligent: it is fradulent.
This has cost me so much time (cell phone charges)and stress that I want to remove the part of my car radio that can even remind me of Sirius.

rip off
I have been a Siruis customer for several years but due to their constantly rising costs have chosen to cancel. I tried to cancel only one radio and was given a quoted cost to keep the second radio active. When I received the bill it was significantly higher than quoted. I called to complain and was promised the problem would be rectified. I received several more bills, all different, and all incorrect. I finally chose to cancel altogether, paid my fees and was promised I was DONE. Now several months later I am being turned over to collections for fees I was never aware of and was promised would not happen. SIRIUS is a SIRIUS joke!!!

Dishonest: won't cancel our service & uses collection agency to harass us!
My advice is to never try to do business with Sirius Radio. These people are not just incompetent but utterly dishonest. We cancelled our service with them five months ago, telling them to let it expire at the end of the year. Instead, they tried to renew it, and when we refused the charge, they turned our account over to a collection agency.
Now we get nasty harassing calls every week. The collection agency tells us we have to call Sirius. We have called Sirius to no avail. Dealing with these people is a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and stay away at all costs!

bullying to renew service
I have received 3 plus voice mails a day on my cell phone advising me that my radio coverage has been revoked. The company is UNAWARE that this was a leased vehicle that was turned in 2 months ago.
The billing does not even reference what vehicle had the satellite radio service.
This is a very poorly run service and I would welcome another satellite choice that might be aware that people change vehicles regularly and DO NOT LIKE TO BE HARRASED

Won't make refund
I renewed my Sirius contract for a year and two monts later got a new vehicle. I contacted Sirius and asked for a refund and was told I would receive it in 4 to 6 weeks. It is now 3 months later and I have not received the refund. Sirius says they sent a check, yet I never received it. I've contacted them about 6 times now, but still no resolution. Their customer service *** and I won't be renewing with them again. I'll either go back to a standard FM radio with CD & MP3 player use my Ipod. I hate it with a company simply cannot resolve a simple customer problem.

Will never sign up again!!!
OMG!!! These people are crazy! I had a free one year subscription when I purchased my new car. After the year was up I received phone calls at least twice a day every single day, which I didn't answer but finally did because I realized they weren't going to stop calling. They talked me into a 6 month subscription which I called and cancelled just prior to the subscription ending. Well I should have suspected something since the lady was pretty much begging and pleading for me not to cancel, offering me another 6 months for the same price. I told her NO. I had to get loud and tell her to just cancel it before she finally did. She told me it would be cancelled 1/5/2011, the end of the current subscription and there would be no more charges. Well I've received my credit card statement with a charge of $99. I call today to ask why I have a charge when my service was cancelled and they tell me they have no record of me calling to cancel!!! What!!! I am so pissed. Now I know why they don't give any confirmation numbers when you speak to someone. I tell the guy, so you're saying I'm lying and just making this up that I cancelled? He says he has nothing showing I called again. After arguing with the guy on the phone he finally tells me it will be cancelled and $94 will be returned to my cc. Well I'm going to be stalking my cc to make sure it's returned. I will NEVER EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER get service with them again. They are scammers! Beware unless you want service for life.

unauthorized billing/deceptive marketing
My complaint is pretty much the same as everyone else's. These people refuse to let anyone cancel their service. As long as they have a valid credit card number, they keep charging you over and over again, and there is NO way to get a refund from them. the only way that I finally got away was that my Amex was lost and my number was changed from the one they had; when they tried to renew without my permission, the card was denied and they began a calling campaign to "update my customer profile"...this is what they tell you and then they casually mention that your credit card number seems to have changed and "why don't I take care of that for you now". Then, when I finally told the guy NO, I wasn't giving him a credit card because I didn't want the service any longer, he said that my service had been renewed on 12/21/10 (about 10 days prior to the call) and I had a balance of $159 and some odd cents. These people are prohibited from telling the truth, that they couldn't care less what your "customer profile" is...they only want to get credit card numbers so that they can continue their scams. And get this...it's January 10...it's only been two weeks since my "account renewed", but I had to go through 5 different levels of Gestapo high pressure sales people before they would allow me to only pay for one month...of something I never bought in the first place. While I was going through the loop of knee-busters, I was searching online for their corporate office. Their office is on Avenue of the Americas in NYC and their President, Mel Karmazin, made more than $43 MILLION in 2009...the 2010 annual report is not out yet, but I'll bet he made more in 2010! And his assistant, Dana Altman, made in excess of $2.3 million in 2009. I called her, but she hasn't called back...why would she? I'm just a customer...I'm all for free markets and capitalism, etc, but these people are making their $43 million salaries off the backs of people who did NOT BUY THE SERVICE...they need to be in prison!!! If Sirius stole from you, also, call Mel or Dana at 212-584-5100 or show up at the office at 1221 Avenue of the Americas, 36th Floor, New York city. This behavior must stop!!!

Stole my money
When the free six months expired on my Sirrius radio I sent in $154 for a one year subscription. I have been on the phone for 26 minutes with a lady I can barely undrstand and she won't let me talk to a supervisor. This is an awful company. Sirrius could care less about customers. They admit to having my $154, sitting there doing nothing and will not start my service. Back on hold now while she claims to be looking for a supervisor. Whether this gets worked out or not at this point is immaterial. What is material is the companies incompetance, use of people who are not adequately trained to speak English and understand a problem, and the callousness towards consumers.

Deceptive billing
I had to stop driving a year due to an eye problem, so called to cancel radio subscription for vehicle that started with factory 3 month trial subscription.
I just thought I canceled! They have a hitch. Go check your credit card billing if you fell for their promises.
After 3 months I began getting a $13.98 monthly charge on credit card, with no radio service. After promises to stop charging and refund I called one last time to have my credit card profile removed from the nonexistent account. Customer service couldn't locate an account in my name, but last week "discovered" I had not specifically canceled the internet radio service. I didn't know of such a service. I haven't had speakers on my desktop in years.
VISA needed earlier formal complaint to reverse past charges, but will stop payment if Sirius tries again. I just got a 92 cent refund after being promised a refund of the last $13.98 charge. I don't do business with people like that.
Anyone wanting to stop services for whatever reason will likely save money by immediately removing the means of billing. The more you let them talk to you the more likely you will end up being billed regardless of what your wishes are. You can run MP3 music through the radio system.

unable to cancel service
i subscribed to sirius radio for a promotional deal of 5 months for 19.99. The day I subscribed i told the service representative to cancel my subscription when the offer ended. They confirmed my request and told me it will be canceled when it was over. Well, 5 months later, i received a phone call from Sirius Satellite asking me if I wanted to continue my subscription, and again, I replied "No". They were supposed to cancel it but never did! Well, it's two months later, and they're calling me asking for payment of my continued services. I spoke with a customer rep, and he told me they can't cancel my subscription until i pay them. I then spoke with a supervisor named George Davis, ID # 8364I, and he argued me down saying there's nothing in the computer about me cancelling my subscription, and that I need to pay or they won't cancel it. I'm so tired of the harassments from this company, calling my phone everyday, all day. I refuse to pay for a service that I cancelled several times. This company is a rip off, and I would NEVER refer them to anyone! Can someone please help me with this matter.
