Deceptive approach
For long period of time I was a member of Singlesnet. I paid lots of money and although I am not a member now, they (singlesnet) are sending me links to individuals that have profiles on there web site.
I have done research, contacted individuals and note that they (Singlesnet) have set me up! This has happened several times, now I keep copies of emails and have legitimate information.
Where are the true watch dogs that need to stop dishonesty approaches such as this one use by Singlesnet?

Just the Nature of Singlesnet.com
I'm sure the site provides minimal Hook-up/dating service...but the hits from scammers and woman pretending to be interested looking for MONEY is amazing.
I'll keep it simple. If you're looking for a dating site check it out first. Make sure everyone has to pay...it is detailed and they screen all applicants for authinticity and they don't give out your information.
If you're serious about dating and meeting other people who date...do not waste your time on FREE dating sites. I was stupid ...you don't have to be.
Remember...you get what you pay for.
Good Luck,
Dave

FalseClaims
I do agree with all of the complaints written about SinglesNet. They are as phony as a three dollar bill! You keep getting notifications thet "so and so is interested in you". That is a bunch of you know what. All those people have done is look at your profile.
When you approach them with a question, they cannot offer you an answer.
Ans whatever you do, do not communicate with someone that has a webcam. That appears to be the new gimmick .

Rip off
I have tried Singlesnet a couple of times. I am very upset with them. I was receiving fake emails. For example one picture was of a man in California. His picture showed Gray hair and blue eyes. His profile said Black hair and brown eyes. When you try to look up some of the people from your emails they simply aren't there, ANY WHERE under search!
Someone was placing pictures over a guy I had met. The profile belonged to the picture showing. To make you think you are talking to the one that was showing when in reality I was talking to the guy whos picture was underneath. I reported all of these problems to Singlesnet with no help in the responses I received.
So beware of all of these problems with them!!!

Scam
This person has sent a nude picture of himself on the bed with *** in the air and said some profanity and wanted me to email him back. This behavior shoud not be allowed on this site. That is not respectful to other. And I find this very rude. You men talk about women being over weight and being deceitful what have you got to say for your selfs now. When my member ship is up I will never join this site again. I didn't think this was suppose to happen. This is his code name saturn8765 if u get an email from him run the other way he is a ***.

Rip off
Without a doubt the laziest, most sloven and inept on line meat market ever it is not worth a popcorn *** in a whirlwind!!! I have been a member off and on several times and it has the most confused shallow members any where the females on there mostly are not paid members and just set and prey waiting for someone to come along so they can string them along. The ones I have met and dated have a body count of husbands behind them and so many so called relationships that it is almost unbelievable. The service is lousy even when you are a paid member and the investment is way to much for the service you get. I have filed several complaints and have not ever received a answer back from the so called stall. When you do terminate your membership this is ignored also and they keep charging your credit card, this will even occur after repeated phone calls. The place is a total ripoff.

Scam and cheating
I was looking for suitable people to date and used Singlesnet.com. While it is true that people can lie really easy behind a computer or phone, screening should be a little better. I began dating someone I met on the site, he is married. Since March I have dated him off and on with promise that he will file for a divorce and has not done anything. This goes even further because he partially responsible for a grandson raised by him and his wife, which is a very spoiled and rude child. There is no intent of divorce and now his wife calls me looking for him when he doesn't answer the phone. Singlesnet, hmm, shouldn't you be single if your looking to date? One may wonder.

Rip off site
Chooseme123 - beware! MAJOR PSYCHO. Our "First Meet" he did something that made me take a step back and re-evaluate every email and phone call we had had. I politely/honestly (as requested) told him why it would not work. He proceeded to email a barrage of hateful emails, and blocked me so as to "have the last word" I texted his phone. Assured him not to worry, I would lose the number. He called (I did not answer) and left message threatening me to call the police if I called him again. He then texted me 3 times, all within two minutes using vulgar language.

Rip off
I sent my membership money with 2 pictures to singlesnet.com they said they'd post the pics in ten working days. It's been 6 weeks and no photos. I asked for a refund and they said I was too late even though I was within the 30 day refund time limit. They cashed my check on the 27th of August. it is now October 8th and still no photos or refund. I've called them 2 times at my expense and all I get is promises and a refund denial. They have also refused to answer any emails sent to them about this matter.

Rip off
SinglesNet charges my credit card but provides no service. I have e-mailed them numerous times and never received a useful response. I have called them on 3 occasions and each time I talked to a "Nerd?". Although I have a upgraded account, I could not reply to any e-mails from interested people. The last straw was when, while on the phone with them, they deleted the names of all those who had previously contacted me!
Is there a means of recovering my $ or, a group that I can report them to?
