Apathy of the sify system
Its funny that despite the hefty charges a pathetic broadband service is provided by SIFY... frequent breakdowns whether its sunny/rain or winter... irresponsible replies from the local guy who says we are planning to shift to optic fbre... after which u shall get good service... only complaint numbers by the customer care people who are again pathetic as far as language goes... ridiculous lan maintenance charges when net may not be working for 1/3 of a month.

Frustrated & irritated by service provider
My ID is vinodmeshram0107. My service provider is dolphin internet service provider whose owner is randhir patil, kasar wadwali naka, G.B. Road, Thane(w). My contact point was Nilesh Pawar from service provider whose phone number is 9323594741 . I lodged a complained to my service provider about the cable broken on 17 July 08. And from then onwards on everyday I called him twice-thrice . Sometimes because of network problem difficult to reach him.Sometimes he was not picking up the phone. And sometimes He used to give the promise that within 10-15 min, he will be at our home. But he never turned up. He also charged me 1800 for the installation but we didn't get the extension cable.Also the cable which coming in our home in properly locked. Also there are regularly interruptions in internet services provided by him. Network not works 3 to 4 days weekly. From the installation time we hardly used the internet for a week. My point is that I didn't use the internet for a month still then I would have to pay monthly charge. Also i had to pay a hefty amount of 1800 for installation which is not at all worth seeing the service they are giving.A lot of complaints on telephone to siffy help line and to my service provider has been registered by me. But till yet i am not getting the services properly. Very poor service! Worst Service!

Compensation of non connectivity days
I have bad experience of non connectivity on not responding of franchisee, even after making complaint to customer care the connectivity was not proper. Out of thirty days there was no connectivity even after complaining of 10 days. So I need my validity 10 days more and need strong action against the concerned persons.

Services are worst
I'm Prachi Sharma & my sify broadband user id is: dahiya_15. I have the sify broadband connection at my home from January2007. From that time till now not a single week is passed properly when i didn't write to Sify Customer Care about the carelessness & lack of services provided by the local Service Provider Mr. Himanshu of Sonipat. This directly indicates that there is a tie between the Sify Higher Authorities & the local ISP that's why the higher authorities didnt took any action against him.
Now, the situation is very-2 irritating... i have to call almost daily or even more than twice or thrice a day to remind the local ISP & Sify Customer Care about the problems telephonically as their internet didnt work properly.
Moreover, if i have any problem regarding my internet connection, the ISP didnt pick the Phone call & a few days back when he didnt pick the call at last i went to their father's shop regarding my complaint he starts using abuse words inbetween the market. Neither the ISP perform its duties properly nor he refunds the amount as he refused to give his services.
Now, let me know if any of the sify authority will be at customer end what they will do. As i'm suffering after taken the SIFY BROADBAND connection, i'll not even recommend SIFY BROADBAND to any of my enemy.

Sify - IP changed
I am a sify broadband prepaid customer in Baranagar area at Kolkata(Calcutta) . I have been facing a IP related problem since the past few days. On reaching my local cable operator for help he kept sticking on his point that the fault is on my system until after 3 days he agreed that he had changed the IP. Now who should be held responsible for this uninterrupted internet supply which included a Sunday as well? Neither I got any help from the sify helpine which repeated my cable operator's words. This has not been solved yet... hope to get it right by 2008!!

Poor service and cheat!
I have recently took sify broadband connection on january. After the expiration date on feb i had again renewed my sify broadband connection 128 kbps for 799 and people from sify came and collected the money on 25th of feb and after there had been no sign of connection and my sify cable operator. I had call many times sify customercare but everyday they say that they would get it right within 24 hrs but every morning they give a call and gives me the no. of my cable operator. And tells me that i need to contact him for getting it right.So, when i call he doesn't even pick the call instead disconnect it.And the sify customer care they do not have a definite answer for it.Its been more than fifteen days i have no connection. I am totally fed up with these bastards.They need to be taught a lesson for these .I insist someone who is having the same problem should report this to the LAW .According to Indian Constitution of law there is a law against these kind of frauds. SIFY SUCKS!!!

Broadband services never available
Got a connection around 8 months back. I had been taking a monthly pre paid pack and till now I have taken 3 compensatory packs (of course after spending so much time and money) for unavailability of their services till the pack got expired.

Now comes the mainstay.... Got a 3 month pack thinking that I dont need to go behind them everytime the service goes down for a week or so. I was in for a big surprise.. 20 days down the line, the service was unavailable due to reasons known only to them. That was on sep 24th 2007. Till date there is no resolution...

Bad customer service!
I pay 1250 rs. for connection of sify broadband. They told me that only in three days i got connection. But after three days they started ignore me and don't pick up my calls after ten days i got the connection. But after they provide so poor services. I call them daily for to check my connection and why its speed too low. There is some fault in broadband cable or lancard, i think something crimping problem of wire. But they don't want to listen me!!!

Careless service!
I am vexed up with these SIFY local vendors , no proper support nothing.When i asked them to shift my existing connection to new location which is 300 meters away, they said they don't have their network over there so they can't provide.

From higher officials of SIFY also there is no response.

So I request you all not to go for these kind of service which will not support you anymore.

Never get proper connection
My complain is " I am using Sify broadband since 9 months and since then I never have proper connection, sometimes there will be problem of network packet losses and when this problem get solve there comes another problem of slow internet connection. The connection is that much slow it come down to 10 kbps. I am fedup by giving complain on telephone.
