I had unsubscribed so I would not receive orders since I have been unemployed. I let customer service know. I have even moved and in May I received an order that I DID NOT request. I called customer service and spoke to a guy and he said he was mailing me a check that day to reimburse me for postage on return mail for the order. He also said my account had only been suspended for six months. I told him to suspend it forever since I am not working.
I still have not received any reimbursement for the postage on the order I did not request. I believe this is rude and a very poor business practice to send orders not requested to unemployed people then expect them to pay postage to return the product.
That business must really suck if they can't even pay for their own mistakes.
Must be awful to be a celebrity and have to hock this stuff and cheat those with so much less.

Sent kit back and they are still charging me
If you return shipments to SHEER COVER, be sure to get confirmation. They just turned me over to a COLLECTION AGENCY even though I HAVE PROOF via a phone call with the account specialist that they got my package back. warehouse.

I got a shipment in last December, closed my my account in January 2009. I had hubby mail the package back in March.

I have never gotten any bills about this shipment.

Just got a phone call from an abusive collection agency telling me Guthy-Renker Corporation - SHEER COVER turned me over because I had an outstanding bill of 97.00.

I was flabbergasted! I told her I had sent it back unopened and would not pay for it. She said I still had to pay. I told her I would never pay the bill. She hung up on me.

I called SHEER COVER immediately at 800-506-6281 and spoke with a women with such a stong SPANISH accent, I could not understand her. Because of the language barrier, I asked to speak with a supervisor. She hung up on me.

I called back and talked with WALT. He said my package WAS RECIEVED on March 27th but I'd still have to pay!!! He said because they recieved it outside the return policy date.

I disputed this. I said you got it back, unopened in good condition which he agreed with. He would NOT take this off my record. I told him if he could not do it to transfer me to a supervisor.

I then spoke with KATHY, an Accounts Specialist. She confirmed they got the package back on March 27th. She also said "supposedly" I had been sent 5 bills from December 12 when it was shipped. I told her I had never gotten a single bill.

I am astounded. I closed my account in January, sent back the package inopened and never got a single bill from this company. BLAM-O, I get a nasty collection agency call from 866-281-4135 and this is the first I've heard of this.

They got the package back UNOPENED and they can just ship it off right now to someone else. This is LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE. You'd think they would cut me slack. This is LOUSY.

I don't even have a jobbut that is NOT the point. They got it back, they can send it to another customer and I feel I've been ripped off. They keep the make up and I pay for what?? Thin air? I don't need the stuff.

This company has NO COMPASSION. Do not EVER buy anything from Guthy-Renker Corporation - SHEER COVER. Take it from me.

Unauthorized charges
I am just like other customer of Sheer Cover been complete riped-off by their website scam. I been thinking about try Sheer Cover for awhile but always think there is something fishy about this product. However, I did decided try few weeks ago and it's really not good as on TV and the size of the item was super small and not realistic and the quality of this product is not great, so after ordering once I am sure that I was right about the not realistic product and definitely did not want to receive it again. however, I received a new box of the item today and unauthorized charge my credit card for $97.84 which I never agree to do they automatic renew this item. I call the customer service right away and they are complete useless and I beginning feel like I am talk to a wall. They basically fully aware there is no choice for the first time buyer to choose if they way to renew the product or not, and if I was purchased over the phone it will give me choice...WTF??? There is clear no legal statement of term and condition for me to sign in order to get my permission to charge my credit card which I never agree to save those information on file, so they can charge me whenever they want. All i want is have them pay for return postage to return it. I shouldn't pay for anything that I never agree to renew. However, if they want to charge my credit card, they should of at least email me or contact me in anyway to let me know it;'s been charged.

They are complete ripe off and I wish someone will sue them for this scam action they trying to pull.

Non-receipt of Goods
I called after reviewing an ad on TV and paid (£35.90)for Sheer Cover on Feb. 07 '09 - the money transaction I must add was instantenously taken out of my account within 2/3 working days - was asked to upgrade and I told them, being my first order, I would like to see how it goes and then get on to the upgraded package - which I had every intention of doing but am so pleased I waited - I was told at the time of the order I should receive the package between 5-7 days - not having received it, I called after 7 days and was told it takes 10 working days, I called after 10 days and was told it could take up to 28 days - I sadly just called (March 9 '09) and asked for a refund - I was told it could take 5 days to receive the refund - this is appalling - how could they take money, hold it for 28+ days and then, merely refund it - this smells fishy - 2/3 days to take the money, never received the goods and 5 days to receive a refund - is this a scam - it sure feels like one!! Look forward to hearing back from Sheer Cover and other people who I am sure must be in the same boat.

Make-up from Hell!
So there I was one evening at 3 AM watching infomercials (never going to do it again as it apprehends my judgement) and after this 60 minute infomercial I was convinced that Sheer Cover is the only thing in existance that would make me appear to have flawless skin. So I called in and ordered the product.

I ordered the RUSH delivery, which was an additional $10 or so, so that it would arrive within a few days. I didn't get for 3 weeks AND I was still charged for the RUSH delivery. I wasn't too upset over that so I let it slide.

I hurried inside my house like a little girl, so excited to test my new, pretty make up. After carefully following all of the instructions, I looked in the mirror and I've never been more displeased. For starters, the pores on my face felt like they were being suffocated! The powder is VERY cakey and I ended up looking like a hideous pageant reject. Needless to say, I felt utterly stupid for actually falling for the ad. I picked up the letter to find the number to call back (which includes, in very small print, an agreement between you and Guthy Renker that a new shipment will arrive and charge you $60 within 30 or so days) and MAN! The girl on the line was acting as though I had just ran over her pet dog! "WHY would you want to return this marvelous product?" "(ahem) you probably didn't follow the instructions correctly." "how about you try this out a couple of more times and see how you like it?" UH, NO!!! I wouldn't want to subject myself, my skin, or my mirror to that humilition again.

Then she didn't give me an exact date on when I needed to return it. "30 days from when you received it."
Right, but I was away on a trip so I don't know which day it arrived, exactly. "30 days from when you received it." UGH!! So I sent it back the next day and hopefully, HOPEFULLY, I don't receive another withdrawl from my account. If that does happen, I can assure anyone who is reading this and all of the complacent reps at Guthy Renker that I will RAISE HELL.

Never received product and got charged!
DO NOT BUY SHEER COVER! I saw the info mercial and decided i would try this product. It looked great and it was on sale for 29.99 HA! I called and ordered this product on 3-28-08 they said it would take 5-7 days to get there so i waited for it to arrive. And waited, and waited. By 4-11-08 i was so tired of waiting i had called once before and they said oh sorry for your trouble we will send you a free gift. I never got that either. When i called on the 11 i told them cancel my account NOW. They said my product was on backorder and they would send me another "free gift" I agreed at first but after thinking about it i said no I don't want the product AT ALL. I want my order canceled. They said it was canceled and everything was taken care of. Well Today i called the bank and a pending charge for 108 $ was trying to go through today! I called sheer cover back and asked then why. They told me my bank was wrong that they were not going to charge me but my order was on backorder still. I said how can that be when i canceled my account on the 11. Needless to say they refused to give me a conformation number stating my account has actually been canceled and that the sales men id would show that it was canceled. YEAH RIGHT! So i am now watching my account to see if the charge will actually go through.

Idiots!
I am a victim of fraud someone stole my debit card number and used it to order sheer cover. Now the bank and sheer cover want to point fingers. One phone call to sheer cover and they say they are crediting my acct back for the product to which I didn't order or receive, and what about my $ 212.00 in overdraft fees I asked? Well you will have to fax a whole lotta crap and they will call you back, we cannot give you a number for them nor can we transfer your call to them or anyone higher than we are. BS I will be calling right back and using the color of my authority as a police officer to get someone on the phone I bet ya. Ladies beware... I didn't even order the stuff and look at all the problems I am having... UUGGHHH!

Terrible customer service and automated system
GOOD PRODUCT NOT WORTH HASTLE!!!

It is not worth my time to get into all the rediculous problems I have had deadling with Sheer cover. Not only do they NOT tell you when you order a starter kit that in order to recieve any "member" prices there after, you WILL recieve shipments with the minimum 4 items you CAN customize if you can get anyone on the phone who knows what they are doing. Doing this FAR OUTWAYS getting "member" prices. If you do not comply, your account will be cancelled.

I tried to do the simple task of signing my sister up for her birthday so that she could become a member, have the kit sent to my address to be put together in a birthday present. I was told that was possible by 5 different agents, was sent the wrong thing in the wrong name after 3 hours on the phone. In the course of a week, I spent 4 hours on the phone, was put on hold for 34 minutes and forgotten about until the rep answered thinking I was a new customer and the list goes on and on. 5 reps and 3 supervisors later, I'm still trying to reverse charges and a shipment that automate with their terrible system after having tried to cancel my account numerous times.

REDICULOUS UNTRAINED CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Billing fraud!
This product was purchased by my mother for me as a gift. She paid in full--and has provided bak statements to Sheer Cover to shoe that she was even overcharged--but continues to receive bills. I have also received bills, though I have never placed an order (they had my name as the shipping address).

I called and explained that 1) I did not order, and 2) the account had been paid, bu they refuse to remove my name. I have now received a letter from a collection agency!

I guess beware!
