I submitted a credit card for a free trial bottle of Total Cleanse. After submitting my credit card information for the $5.95 charge of shipping/handling I received a phone call to verify that I was going to receive the free trial. In addition, I was informed at that time that if I did not intend to continue to use the product I would have to call them within 15 days to cancel, otherwise, I would continue to receive the product at the cost of $89.00/month.
I received the shippment today 1/17/09 and attempted to immediately cancel the order. I have called multiple toll free numbers, some from the flyer included with the shipment, and others from the website I was directed to utilize to cancel via the internet. None of the numbers are in service, and the live chat is not really a chat. When trying to send my question, or cancellation, an error notice returns to my email stating it cannot locate the site.
I feel as though I have been scammed, and I want to cancel any future charges to my credit card, but I am fearful I cannot get in touch with anyone in time.

TRIED TO CANCEL ORDER PRIOR TO 14 DAYS SINCE I RECEIVED IT ON THE 13TH DAY AND DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO EVEN TRY IT. I CALLED NUMBER GIVEN ON ALL LITERATURE FROM MAIL, EMAIL & WEBSITE TO CANCEL AND IT JUST SAID THAT THIS NUMBER HAS NOT BEEN ASSIGNED YET. CALLED MY BANK AND THEY WILL BE DOING AN INVESTIGATION ON THIS TO REIMBURSE ME IF THIS WOULD HIT MY ACCOUNT. THIS IS A FRAUDLENT PRACTICE IN MY BOOKS!
