Poor service
Reliacne India call services are becoming poor day by day.
1. Many days, their system got jammed and does not pick up the calls.
2. The voice quality has reduced a lot.
3. Some days, the line is getting disconected frequently. The pity is when you try to make a call again, you get a message that the service is busy in this line. Alas ! The computer has not released your line and the meter is just running. You try call customer service, the call keeps ringing.
I was trying to register in AIRTEL site. Kudos ! The site does not allow me to register and keeping error message. Very poor quality web site.
When is India going to improve despite claiming that they have a big brain power?

Unresponsive Customer Service
I moved in 2005 and transferred my the account to new phone number but these idiots forgot to make changes. I tried to call their number 1-866-673-5426 and only way to access these stupids is the phone number and pin. and once that does not match then the phone call is terminated. There is no way to tal to any customer service person. This typical shitty Indain attitude. Indian business men wants to global with this shiity customer service attitude. There are dime a dozen phone companies.

Fraud and cheating!
Hey this reliance india call hence they grown now days in the rounding of min they are not doing properly. Whenever there is/was a recharge the balance min carried over is/was not done properly, some min are eliminated. Be aware friends!!!

No service for Hours!
The telephone service of Reliance india call has been shut off for the 4-5 hours on weekend (August 19 2007) on peak hours. The miserable thing is they also shut the services of the costumer service, its annoying that the call to costumer service number would automatically switches off after 10 seconds. What the hell is this? I had to make an emergency call tried desperately for three hours. Finally i have to open another account to call india. I hate this service.
When i called the customer service after 8 hours, they have only sentence to say that the problem is now rectified. Its non-sense. Who cares if the service is rectified after a long time. I was really pissed off whole day.

Rounding off to minute!
I have been using this calling card of one year - Recently I noticed calls are getting rounded off by an extra minute. When I checked with stop watch in parallel, I found their trick.
They start counting time the moment you get connected to 1800 number - if the call to india gets connected.
It is very difficult to catch this, unless you make multiple back to back calls - When I complained about this, they say I am wrong - and did not offer any reasoning when I provided facts.

Problem in calling if 2 different users registered
I am using Reliance India calling card for the past 5 months. But now i am unable to call from my hotel number. (I have shifted myself from one hotel to another hotel).
The reason why I am unable to call is, someone has registered the hotel number (from which I call)in their account so that they can call directly by dialing the PIN. So when i tried to call from this number, i was directly asked to dial the PIN, which i cannot do.
I talked to the customer care executive, and they said that they will release that number after January 31,2007, since there was some offer going on at that time.
But even after that, i faced the same issue and now the customer care executive is saying like, I have to wait till Feb 28,2007, since there is some more offer going on.
I don’t really understand, why they have promised that they will release that number on Jan,31,2007 and for no reason i have to suffer. I have recharged for 50$ and I am not able to use it now.
I am not really happy on this situation and if it still continues, I have no option other than going to some other calling card and I’ll quit from Reliance India call account.

Fake offers, double talk time!
To those who are going on and on about Reliance's offer to double the talktime, in response to Airtel's amazingly low rates, here's a word of caution: After signing up with them, I could learn that the new rates and everything was a big sham. They don't give you double the talk time, they just add a few complementary minutes. The advertising is fraudulent!!!
AirtelCallHome at least delivered on its promises and is a much professional company.
I will any day stick to Airtel and not be lured by Reliance.
