I got a membership that was suppose to research your ancestors and it does ABSOLUTELY nothing. Everytime you enter a name it comes up no name found. No MATCHES. now they will not refund my money.

The second I paid for it I knew it was a scam because the first thing that caught my attention was the fact that before you even purchase a plan they give you a list of the records that you can search and recieve. They make it seem like your getting a huge discount from$99 to $39. then the second I paid and put in my password I couldn't find the report I was looking for anywhere on their little island. It pissed me off!!!. so I instantly called the bank and told what my fear was, and called the fraud report line and told them rightaway so that my back side was covered. it's not cool but guaranteed I get my money back; and hopefully before it posts to my acct.

I subscribed to RecordsArea.com to try and locate a missing person.
It was advertised at a discount for a five year period at $29.94. I was charged $39.94.. I ran the search it said they found 93 records with this name. I could not access any of them.. I then put
in someone I knew.. They came up with some records only one
his address was available.. On his marriages. Theysaid they had
111, only 3 were availabe to vew and they were in the 1800's
And he was a man I was married to for 18 years..
This is in no uncertain terms a ripoff.. And I am contacting every
person of authority I can think of.. Senators, Congressman, and
Representatives. Oh, and my lawyer as well.. I darn Angry..

Paid money to find records and there was nothing there couldn't even find any records on myself. Come to find out it is a scam, these people need to be found and put in prison. Don"t know any address or phone # or what state they reside in.

A complete scam!! I searched for records that I knew should be available and got nothing.
This web site "company" lauded itself as being able to access numerous public records. It uses already "free" sites and nothing else, however it "sells" itself as being very thorough and comprehensive.
I paid $39.95 for "unlimited access".
I will be reporting this web site to the State of Maine Consumer Credit Bureau ASAP because it misrepresents itself, takes you credit card information and money for a product it does not produce.
When inquiry made about the lack of services that site was supposed to offer, no response.
