NOT A PUPPY MILL
Puppies234.com is most definatly NOT A PUPPYMILL. There are tons of complaints on here accusing them of being one & if you read their website which is very consise and clear it is easy to see that they are by far not a puppy mill. I know three people that have purchased dogs from them & they have all had wonderful experiences. I have called in regards to several puppies over the last few months and they have always answered my questions in a proffesional manner. I have finally chosen a puppy to purchase from them & once again they were so polite & well organized while setting my inforamtion up for purchase & delivery. Perhaps all of you people that are having negative experinces with puppies234 need to review your own attitudes. Puppies234 is a great website & they are great people offering a both reasonablly priced dogs as well as a great delivery system (NOT SHIPPING)

Horrible People
Bought a puppy from here and two days latter it died. Vet said it was a worm infestation that was not treated. They claim to have dewormed thier dogs but i guess they lied.

rude and heartless
I am a 9 yr. old writing this to tell people NOT to use this website!!! http://puppies234.com. I am making this complant because people need to know that these people at puppies234.com DO NOT return phone calls if you are interested in one puppy!!! My Mom found the website and showed me the yorkie page. I found this puppy that I fell in love with!!!So my Mom called them to tell them that we would love to buy her and to please call us. When the lady Dee called us she told my Mom that her name sounded familiar and she needed to check some list they keep so she had to call us back. I couldn't understand why this lady thought that we were someone else, but my Momn told me n ot to worry and that after the lady checked her list she would realize we were not the people she was thinking of, and she would call us back. While we waited to hear back from them, I was sooo excited that I checked the website hourly to look at the puppy I was in love with. I even read their website and made lists of all the things that I would need to take care of a small dog. I was so happy at the thought of getting this adorable puppy.I kept asking my Mom to call them, but she kept telling me that she wanted to follow all of their rules and not bother them so there wouldn't be any reasons for them to have a problem with selling us the puppy. She also told me that on their website it says they are fair and hold the dog for the 1st person that called for the dog and we called within minutes of her pic being posted so she was sure that there would be no problems and that maybe Dee was just busy, but she was sure she would get back to us since she allready told us that Ryvella was still available when she called. When I went on the page on 4/16/2010 to see look at her again and make sure she was there, I couldn't believe my eyes!!!She was gone!! I broke down in tears for 1whole hour!!! Dee if you or the owners are reading this- I give you a thumbs down for your rude attitude when you spoke to my mom (Dee) and for being a heartless company!! You want respect well you should give your custimors respect also!!! You say you are professional well I think you are UNPROFESSIONAL and VERY VERY VERY RUDE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! I do not agree with the people saying that you are nice you might have nice pups, but you are not nice!! I agree with the people that say that you are rude and anything else about being mean!!!I have always been taught to treat others the way I want to be treated, well if you believe the same thing then I guess you want people to be rude, mean, and uncaring. I guess my Mom being so nice might have been the mistake, maybe if she was mean and rude like you we would be getting our new puppy!!!

These people are puppy Nazis!!! Their website is very demanding with many rules and codes of conduct that they expect you to follow, but there was a dog named Ryvella that my 9 yr. old fell in love with, so I figured I would follow all their rules about calling and give them a call. I read all the info on the website 2x before I even placed the call so that I would be able to answer any question that they may have asked me. When I made the call I was overly nice!!! I left a nice short message as they requested, with all of my information, and as I said I was more then pleasant!!! We eagrly waited for a return call, which I got about 2 hrs. later only to be rudely told that my name sounded familiar and she thought that I may have been someone that they had problems with in the past, I politely advised her that this was the first time that I ever called them and in fact I had only come across their website over that past weekend. She said that the dog I was interested in was available, but she would have to call me back. I didn't get a call back that night, and I waited the requested 24 hrs. to call them back. I again left a very pleasant message letting them know that we were still very interested in the puppy and that I would greatly appreciate a call back to let me know what was going on. I was not bothersome or rude at ALL and now 4 days later not only did I not get the courtesy of a return call, but I came home to my daughter in tears because the dog she fell in love with is no longer posted on the site so they obviously must have sold her to someone else!!! This dog missed out on a great loving home!!! We are animal lovers and would have taken great care of her! If Dee or any other person from puppies234 reads this I would still like to know why I was refused the opportunity to purchase a puppy from you???? I realize that you keep a "black list" of people that you have had problems with in the past, but I am not one of them!!! If Dee took the time to ask me any questions or gather any information about me she would have known that I could not possibly be the person that she thought I was. My last name is very common, so if you really do keep records of the "problems" you should have been able to see that I was not the person you thought I might be. You do a lot of talking on your website about how you expect people to act kindly towards you and to be respectful when they are calling you, but you are the one that needs to take a course in coustmer service to learn how to treat nice people fairly. I have never been treated so unfairly and rudely, or dealt with someone that is so unprofessional. You claim to be "family" people on your website, I hope that letting you know that you broke a little girl's heart today might make you change the way you treat people and run your business!!!

RUDE & GHETTO
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO PURCHASE A DOG!!! I called to inquire about a dog and the lady who answered was VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. (I somewhat anticipated this b/c there is much defensive, attitudinal commentary on their website. But, I digress...). When I initially called she had me on hold for a very long time, so I eventually hung up. Then when she called back she was snappy.; While I was asking about a certain dog, she cut me off in the middle of my question to repeatedly correct the way I pronounced the dog's name. (VERY IMMATURE!). After crossing that hurdle, I was yelled at for inquiring about whether or not there would be another litter of this breed. I was told that "there are always more litters". (well, of course there are. Obviously I was asking about the NEXT litter that would be available so that the dog I was interested in would have a playmate from the same family. Duh!). When I told her that there are only 2 shorkies on the site, she interrupted me and said "No there's not, there's over 15. Didn't you check the Yorkie page?" (She said this with much attitude). Obviously, this genius doesn't understand that I was interested in shorkies that are from the same family as the dog I was interested in. Perhaps, if she toned down the attitude and put on her listening ears, she would've caught that.
There is a particular section on the page (under the "delivery" tab) that speaks of how they've blacklisted customers who were rude. I thought it odd and very unprofessional to broadcast that on the website, but after speaking with little miss attitude, I now understand why it's there - they seriously lack in customer service and in turn people give them a taste of their own medicine. I am sooooooooo glad I called before purchasing a puppy. I cannot imagine the nightmare I would be in for if I decided to do business with these heathens.
My advice to someone to looking to purchase a dog from them - DON'T! It's not worth the headache. I also encourage you to read the entire website - the overall defensive, malicious tone will turn you off...and if that doesn't, a phone call certainly will. There are much FRIENDLIER breeders out there - use them instead! There's a reason why these backyard breeders have OVER 200 complaints - take that as a hint.

Rude rude rude - AVOID
We contacted this breeder for information/paperwork on a puppy we adopted from her through our neighbor. Dee ( 814-362-1327, Box 544, Bradford, PA 16701) has been nothing but rude. She is inexperienced and has no clue what she's talking about. I would definitely not recommend buying from her since if she has an abbrassive rude attitude with polite strangers I cant imagine how she treats these puppies to get $$. She's definitely running a sad puppy mill. I'd stay away from her. SHE needs some training.

Great website ~ Great people
I can't beleive You people are on here calling these people a puppymill. They are not a puppy mill. I live in New Jersey and I drove all the way to some place in North West PA and bought a cockapoo from a lovely nice couple in July of 2008. My puppy was clean and very friendly and socialized. I got their number form my Aunt who bought a Schnoodle puppy from this website and her puppy was in good health also. I mean c'mon I am sure they have one here or there that has a bit or two wrong, but that just comes with the territory. I am buying another puppy from these people this week. Only this time I am not driving all the way out there again. Now that I know it is a clean, puppy friendly place, I will be doing delivery this coming weekend, another cockapoo. Jeze pete, theres plenty of folks on here saying they have picked up thier puppy from a nice clean environments. Besides haven't you dummies read over the website. Someone on that website knows alot about dogs and how they think. When I got my paperwork, there was even more imformation. Puppymills do not know anything about housebreaking or crate training, posinious substances, spaying and neutering. Jeze have you read over their requirements, puppy mills do not list requirements. Puppy mills could careless about anything except money. These people have care and concern, you can tell by just reading over the website. A lady I work with got a puppy from them at xmas time 2008. I gave the website and her puppy was delivered to her home here in jersey. I know her puppy was good and healthy too. I forget what she boguht and I do not work with her anymore. I have no complaints.
Who ever is complaing that they only accept cash and they must not report income cause its cash only. You are completely stupid, completely stupid. How else would they get paid ???????????????
Taking checks is plain stupid, who would take a check ??? Call every breeder in the united states and see if they take checks ??? I dont think so !
It makes no sense for them to take credit cards. With as many scams out there and credit card fraud I am sure that when people have to pay first for their puppy, like using a credit card over the phone that it would make them nervous paying in advance.
The fact that a customer does not pay until they pick up their puppy or when it is delivered just proves that they are honest and have nothing to hide. The fact that they list their refunds is also a bold move, proving more honesty.
If you are thinking about buying a puppy from them I doubt you will have any problems and if you do try no to act like that one lady. If someone called me hollering and threatening and accusing I would be upset about.

SOPHISTICATED PUPPY MILL
This company is supposedly made up of a bunch of independent breeders. They advertise on-line. The put up pictures of the puppies and you call and select which one you want. You may pick your puppy up or they will deliver (for a charge). Everything has to be CASH. They say all the breeders are licensed, but they will not give out the breeders names and phone numbers. Supposedly there is one person who takes all the calls which can run into 1600 or more per month. Probably doesn't give much time to the callers. Figure it out - calls are answered 11 hrs per day - 30 days a month devided by 1600 - mmm 12 minutes per call. How much information can you possibly get in 12 minutes???Nevertheless, How can she possibly know about each puppy? Or the parents? Especially since they are NOT at her location?
Another thing that does not sit right with me is that if you ask for the breeders name and phone number (for a particular pup) it will not be given out because they say then you might deal directly with the breeder and they don't want that ...BUT if you want to pick up your pup are they sending you to the breeders home??? Couldn't you deal directly with them at that point??? Or are they just sending you to someone elses home??? Something doesn't quite click.
And according to their web site they want good homes, etc...A good home would want all the information possible on the pup, the sire and dam, other litters, health issues...etc All of which can not possibly be answered by the person that takes ALL the calls.
So - anyone out there thinking of purchasing puppy from these people - please think twice - DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THE CONTINUATION OF PUPPY MILLS - It all comes down to supply and demand.

We got a great puppy
I am on here writing cause I got a puppy, a cavachon from these people and it is a wonderful smart dog, best dog I ever had. I bought my cavachon about 4 years ago from an older man, he lived in Coudersport PA. I traveled from Boston Mass all the way to this mans house. It was 9 hours away and I only paid $200 for my puppy. Anyway i called him back this fall for another puppy and he told me that he was going deaf and couldnt hear folks on the phone anymore so he put his puppies on this site called puppies234.com. So i went to the site and I talked with Dee and also a Meri. They were both great. Dee helped me with a problem I have been having with my cavchons skin. She told me it was the dogfood I was using. I took her advice and changed the food, something my vet couldn't figure out or help me with. I stop feeding my dog red and orange colored food made by Beneful and my dogs skin allergies went away and have stayed away. I bought another cavachon from this puppies234.com and last week he was delivered to my home by a very polite, pretty young gal. Puppy was clean and he was white to boot. Glad to have my dogs, Max and Rudy are my boys now and with my wife gone to heavan, they keep me great company. Seems everyone on here comlaining hasn't ever been to any of these breeders homes and none of these people complaining have bought a dog from them. The people on here saying good things have actually been to the breeders homes and have bought dogs from them. Look this lady on here is bitching cause of something written in their refund section and is saying not to buy a dog from them, but she called about their puppies, didnt she. Yes, she did. now she has something to say about it cause she didnt get along with Dee. If their refund section bothered her, then why did she call about a puppy ?? That right there tells you that her opinion shouldnt matter.

unprofessional/rude puppy breeders
I called these puppy breeders to inquire about their dogs. I said to them, "hello, i was calling about more information about your dogs". And the lady on the other end replied, "what about them?". The conversation was very brief and with everything I said she replied to me that it was on the website. I finally said to her that I didn't feel she was being very helpful. "And then her final response before she hung up on me was, I'm f------- sorry you can't read". I was absolutely shocked. I couldn't believe what kind of people these people were running this buisness. I was calling during the hours they listed, and was very friendly. You would think they would be friendly and want to inquire about you, the puppy buyer, to insure I was qulaified and was going to give the dog a loving home. I would say to the people running it, if you do not want people calling and inquiring, then don't list a phone number, instead an e-mail address.
I never called back again and wouldn't, b/c there are many wonderful breeders out there I came to find. I think poeple like that are just out to make money and could then therefore be looked at as a puppy mill, not a breeder. I am concerned for the puppies themselves and how if she treated me like that on the phone with no remorse, how do they treat helpless, innocent little animals? I looked at all of there returns they had with their puppies. I couldn't believe the amout of sicknesses that were listed these dogs had, and there were even two deaths of the puppies three days after it went to it's new home. I have NEVER heard of that. The puppy was obviously ill and not taken care of well enough. I am sad to see an organization as unprofessional and crude as they are. I hope people do still buy the puppies though, to get them healthy and make sure they are in a loving home. I hope the people who run this organization realize that when you have this many complaints, it is legitimate and they need to change their tune a bit.
