Promised Much, Delivered Nothing
My experience is very similar to what Dr. Joseph F Cortese experienced. I was comforted by his report. He was better organized than I was, yet he experienced the same frustration. PMI got into me for $9050, considerable less than the $15, 000 they got from Dr. Cortese. My ordeal started March 5, 2010. Eventually they made 5 "Landing Pages, " websites with links to products for sale, I attempted to make one but could never finish it, a task I concluded was impossible, and "published" them. When I checked on them, the unfinished page came up first, totally discouraging further exploring by potential customers. Even after getting the unfinished page removed, there was absolutely no sales, maybe because there was no exposure to traffic! An attempt to get a total refund got an offer of $1920 if I would sign a statement to shut my mouth. Can you imagine the audacity to buy my silence with my own money?!!! Finally in April, 2011, I finished a letter explaining the Grand Larceny Theft by Scam, addressed and mailed to the FBI, Sheriffs, Chiefs of Police, Attorney Generals, Better Business Bureaus, Chambers of Commerce, and Utah Division of Consumer Protection. I found addresses in Salt Lake City, Lehi, Spanish Fork, UT; Jefferson City MO; Jackson MS; Phoenix AZ; Kansas City MO. PMI, BBB, and Detective Mark Birch of Lehi Police responded. I do have Good News!
June 17th, PMI by FedEx sent me a check for the balance of $9050 they owed me after 2 refunds early on. My remaining monetary loss is $1530 in interest I paid on that amount on my credit card. I asked them if they would do for me what they had tricked me to do for them, borrow money and pay interest on it. I've not seen, nor do I expect to see, a check for the interest amount, so their answer to my question is, "NO."
I wonder about the BBB. Now that the thief has returned the amount he stole from me, is he not a thief anymore and he can have his A+ Rating back?

Refusal to Refund
In August of 2010 I signed on with Professional Marketing International (PMI) of Lehi, Utah. I was assured that within a few months I would see some viable income from a venture into the world of selling quality wine racks on the Internet. I studied the lessons they supplied, and worked hard at accomplishing everything I was advised to do. As time went on and there were no sales and thus no money coming in, I had to obtain a part time job just so I could pay essential bills and keep ahead of creditors. I fell farther and farther behind, though, as I struggled to at least make minimum payments on my debts that resulted from this association with PMI.
The company, through an advisory coach or consultant, was very much aware of my financial situation, and my availability. I dedicated every Thursday to working on the website business, since that was the only work day I was able to do so. Yet, the coach insisted on calling me for our telephone conferences six times on Fridays, out of a total of 11 times, with no rescheduling considered at all due to my working situation. Instead, PMI records show that I was a “no show!”
Wouldn’t you think, upon reviewing a list of these conferences and seeing that all of the six “no shows” were on Fridays, something was odd? Why were no attempts made by PMI to reschedule these at a time that I was available, instead of simply blowing them off? They were promised as a part of the original package. By the way, until quite recently, I was totally unaware that I was “cheated” out of these six sessions. I find that itself unbelievable.
The company never made any offer to change me to another coach until I had filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Utah on 4/25/2011. Initially, PMI offered me a $2, 000 “rebate for business expense.” Yet, they had the audacity to tell the BBB that I had received the “rebate” and “agreed to continue working with one of our top consultants.” I have NOT received a $2000 rebate, and I never agreed to continue working with this company. As a matter of fact, there was no follow-up or checking in with me to see why my site was not functioning, nor any contact from PMI, until I filed the complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
I did receive a form authorizing the monetary “rebate” a few days after their “offer.” However, I read it very carefully, and then faxed the required paperwork to PMI, attached with a noted amendment that I had written. I signed the amendment in place of the original standard form from them, the reason being that I refuse to sign any document which states that the entire situation is resolved by my signature, and that I no longer hold PMI responsible for any further action or financial reimbursement on their part. Let the consumer beware, and always read the fine print before signing anything. Or so I was taught.
Allow me to share with you that I am a scholar, researcher, a voracious reader, a published author, and an experienced educator with two Masters Degrees and two Doctorates. I trusted PMI to do a credible job, since they were recommended by a business associate of mine. I never expected to be flat broke to the tune of over $15, 000 because of the trust I had placed in PMI. All I have to show for my efforts is an extremely undesirable and damaging financial crisis.

New to this scam
I recently purchased Anthony Morrison's books on internet marketing from an infomercial. I hadn't had the materials very long before I got a phone call from Professional Marketing International. I was pressured to purchase for over an hour. I was told that if I paid a lump sum (thousands of dollars) that I wouldn't have to pay anymore money. I explained that if I put it on my credit card I would not be able to pay the minimum payment. He assured me that I would be taught how to sell on ebay and could make enough money until I got the program going. I fell for the sales pitch. There was no ebay training. I only did the orientation and the first lesson before I realized there was more money to be spent. I proceeded to try and back out of the program. Only to be reminded I only had three days to cancel. Of course my orientation wasn't until a week after I had paid the money. Now I cannot pay the minimum credit card payment. When I spoke to the Quality department they said I could not get out of it. Since I have no more money to put into the program I am forced to stop. I sought council and was advised to file bankruptcy. I am only asking for a refund. To me if they guarantee customer satisfaction they would give me my full refund. The sad thing is I was just trying to help my elderly mother with some bills.

Sales Practices
This company engauges in fraud on a daily basis. DO NOT buy anything from Dean Graziosi or his other company called PMI and Tax Club. I lost more than $7, 000 bucks from these jokers. Dean Graziosi is under review from AZ Attorney General for Fraud. In addition, Dean is being charged for raping a minor in AZ. The guy is a crazy person!!! DO NOT BUY anything from these people. Just a warning. :( Bad news
Google Better Business Bureau - Tax Club has an F rating! Do your homework

Pressure to give credit card info
I have been contacted recently by PMI because I purchased Anthony Morrison’s "Marketing Profits From Home" package. I like what I have read in his books, and feel that I made a sound purchase. (it was under $25.00) The program does include very good information and what is not included is easily found for free online.
After reading all kinds of comments referring to PMI, I recognize so many of the catch phrases that they (Trevor) used on me, just as they did on other people who have purchased numerous other products over the last couple of years. I have successfully put them off so that I could do research on their company before I spent my money with them.
I recognize a sales pitch right away. I recognize them creating a "sense of urgency" to buy their service. I recognize "the take-away", that if I don’t buy in today, I could lose my spot to someone else. I recognize transferring me to a “closer” after building me up with scenarios of success, if only I will follow exactly what they say.
Then I am transferred to Matt R., the closer. Trevor has set up this phone appointment for me to speak with him, and I am told that not may people get to speak with Matt. So, at the appointed time Matt calls and goes over some of the same warm-ups that Trevor did. Then we get to the most interesting part. He wants to know how much money I am ready to put on my credit card TODAY. It goes around and around with me asking specific questions that are ignored in favor of more talk of how I am lucky to have this opportunity, how he gets paid whether or not I am ready to be a success and start today. He is preparing to start making a plan with me when I tell him my credit cards are in my safe deposit box in my bank. Everything screeches to a halt. I am asked when can I get to my cards, because we can go no further without my cards. I ask for a specific written accounting of what this $6, 965.00 is going to cover. I am told he is happy to do that AFTER I pay for the “course”. I am given nothing, absolutely nothing, to make me feel safe and secure about giving my credit card to a complete stranger. My questions don’t get answered and I am redirected each time I attempt to get any sort of information.
I am supposed to speak with the people at PMI again once I have credit card in hand. I will call them and ask why I have found so many cases of people unhappy with their service from many products they have “courses” for. I will ask why all the testimonials have almost word for word quotes of what the PMI sales people say to get us to fork over a large sum of money.
They wont be getting mine. I will work Anthony’s book without PMI and try to contact Anthony on my own to see if he knows what PMI is representing. I suggest that anyone who has found their way to this forum looking for info on PMI will keep their credit cards in their pockets and run for the hills.
PMI is bad news and don’t have our best interest in mind. If you have made it here, your gut is telling you something isn’t right with Professional Marketing International. Listen to your gut, and save yourself a lot of grief and a bad investment. (and to strengthen your decision, go to the BBB website and see how many times this company has changed its name.)

Make you think you can earn your money back
They led me to believe that I could make enough money by the time my first credit card payment was due to make the payment. Four months later I haven't made any money and have made 3 payments. I am just getting pushed from one place to another and one person to another also I have had 3 different coaches so far. I call to get help no one answers or I get a recording to leave a message and they will call me back. They don't call back. I am very disappointed and discouraged with this whole program. I have been working lots of hours doing my training programs, doing what my coaches tell me, doing advertising and so far nothing to show for it. I would not advise anyone to join this program. There has got to be something easier, more helpful, and less expensive out there than this. I just wish I had read this before I gave my money to them.

they lead you to think you can make money easy no way
This company said we could make good money easy, its not true . We spent at least 100 to 120 hours trying to find a supplier but all the ones we found won't sell whole sale, and that means we would of had to charge more than the people we would get the product from, so that means we would have to over charge for the product we are no theives, at least to the people that didn't look further on the net. But like myself I look for the best price on products so that means no one would buy from us. And when we tried to get at least some of our money back they said it has been to long $14.000 dollars ripped off, my advise is don't use this company at all...

Fraud
PMI, also promised me they could make me money online, the only thing they have done is taken my money and left me with the debt of paing them for a service thet was guanteed to make money. And the only thing I've made is my debt worst, I tried to make money with there program and I have nothing to show for it but debt that I have to pay and they keep going on with business as if they have nothing to lose. Well if you use them to try to make money online you will lose everything and they will just go on to the next person. I think everyone that has done business with PMI should get together and SUE them for everything they have and put them out of business.

Terrible experience
I am interested in learning about PMI & working with them on web based advertising. I would appreciate any info. good or bad. I can't afford to lose any money as I live on Social Security. I found one web site that had about 1/2 good things about them & 1/2 said they had trouble getting their money refunded & didn't get any help in setting up the program. They did say they have been referred to as Professional Marketing International coaching in the past.
