Hello, (West Chicago, IL) I have been searching for employment for several months so when I got a phone call from the Primerica Rep, I obliged to meet with him. At our meeting, I became curious and asked several questions which infuriated the Rep...he told me that I had "pissed him off" and he told me to "screw myself" when I got deeper into asking how I would get paid. DONT DO IT!!! This lack of professionalism is TERRIBLE !

I allowed a Primerica Rep to come to my home. After the meeting and information was taken down I had noticed some of my accounts were being hacked into. After research it was the Rep from Primerica that did the hacking. It alarms me that this company hires people like that. The individual that hacked also got a promotion.

Doesn't seem right. Might want to screen your possible candidates better.

Primerica! I have worked for many financial companies before and by far the best I have ever seen. I don't understand how people come on this site and complain about a company they never even JONINED! How stupid! #1 $99 ummm if you have good trainer you will receive $1200 in your training. I did! What is wrong with yall? #2 How do you have anything BAD to say about a company that saves family from financial ruin? This company educates people how not to go down the wrong financial road. You people don't even have enough guts to try! How about try 1st and if you dont like get your stinky $99 back. Are you that broke that you cant afford to give $99 to make $1200??? # PLEASE PLEASE! Please tell me why people always say this isn't for me or I do something like this? Whatever! We are taught to become whatever we decide. No person is born a financial expert or doctor DUH! And most of the stuff we do has little to do with coming up with numbers. THAT'S what a computer is FOR!

Hello, to all the positive open-minded people of this great country and the great countries around the world. People with ambition and goals are the back bone to building a strong economy. Quality information and education are important for making decisions. When I was presented with an opportunity to meet with a Primerica representative I looked to find as much information as possible about the company.

Starting with a general search of the Better Business Bureau in Atlanta, Georgia I found an A+ rating the highest possible rating from the BBB.
Industry Rating Companies

A.M. Best rating of A++. The Strength of Primerica’s distribution model is evident in the exceptional sales results generated for Primerica Life. The highest rating they offer out of 15 ratings.

Moody’s Investor Service rating of Aa1. Primerica’s important position in the market of individual life insurance is credited for the upgrade. The second highest rating they offer out of 19 ratings.

Standard & Poor’s rating of AA. The AA claims-paying ability of Primerica Life Insurance Co. is based on its healthy statutory profitability and capitalization, and its strong market position as the leading writer of individual term life insurance. The third highest rating they offer out of 18 ratings.

Fitch rating of AA. The rating reflects the low-risk nature of the company’s business, strong capital position, excellent asset quality and liquidity, leading market position in term life insurance sales, strong sales momentum and consistent profitability resulting from an established franchise and low-cost distribution system. The third highest rating they offer out of 21 ratings.

Research on the FINRA website. The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority under arbitration and mediation shows no results for Primerica. Which means everything they are doing as a company is legal and ethical.

Research on the SEC website. U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission shows filings related to the sale of assets of Shearson to Primerica. Any litigation is against individuals that let greed get in their way and operated outside of the law and company policy for their own personal gain. No wrong doing on the part of Primerica other than not finding the frauds committed by the individuals.

Research on the NAIC website. National Association of Insurance Commissioners finds an article speaking to the challenges to the industry and the need for more people to be licensed to help the millions of people that need education and service relating to financial matters.

Searching for more information about Primerica finds that they had an IPO on the NYSE an April 1, 2010. Further research shows that the IPO was very successful. Warburg Pincus invested $230 million in Primerica.

After doing real research with credible sources I looked at the company from a skeptics view and looked into the remarks made by many that scream mlm, pyramid, scam and other negative comments.
Most comments are made by individuals that went to one meeting or didn’t show up at all to find out the truth. Some stated they worked for Primerica but moved onto other companies in the industry, (competitors trying to discredit their competition). Most of these comments are inflammatory and negative without a basis in fact.

Most jobs in this world offer security of just enough compensation to keep someone from leaving. If someone is willing to spend 20-60 hours a week giving full effort to a company for base wages they will be rewarded the same as someone who will spend 20-60 hours a week doing just enough to not be terminated.

During the economic downturn of 2008-2009 thousands of people found how the company they give their lives to can easily dismiss them.

Many businesses offer franchise opportunity to start on the bottom and work hard to build that business into something great. Franchising is a viable business model to grow a company. Network Marketing or mlm for the negative minded is a viable business model to grow a company. Franchisees pay large fees to market under the name of the established company. Primerica offers the same opportunity to build a business without thousands of dollars to start.

After looking into the cost of licensing including education, testing, and fingerprinting a financial services representative could spend well over $1000.
Primerica offers all of the licensing, support, field training, and expertise of an experience Regional Vice President who has a vested interest in your success for a onetime fee of $99 that includes background checks and administration necessary for the highly regulated industry.

Primerica is for entrepreneurial, motivated people with high ethical standards. A Primerica representative must also have a good work ethic . Being able to learn how money works and then being able to teach other people how money works and to help them be properly protected, debt free, and save for the future.

Further research shows that Primerica is in the distribution of financial services business. Middle income families are underserved by financial services companies. Bankruptcy and foreclosure plague our country. Primerica is on a crusade to help families one at a time learn what needs to be done in their lives and others to correct the financial problems.

Anyone with a positive outlook can see through the fog and find Primerica as a company that is in business to help families with their finances, help their representatives build a business, and like any corporation make a profit.

Anyone with a negative outlook will continue to say and think negative thoughts. Hopefully, one day you will see life and people in a positive light. I wish you the best in life.
