PosterPass.com Reviews

Fraudulent company
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! It is a fraud! Even if you follow the rules and send back your mechandise unopened, you will have to fight it in arbitration with your credit card company. I have receipts from UPS tracking that posterpass.com signed for the packages, and they still will not credit my account!

My daughter signed up for a "Penny" poster. We received that in the mail - and much more. From 6/11 - 6/14 we received (unsolicited) $240's worth of "posters". I have sent all but one back - unopened - and am still waiting for the credit on my credit card account.

In my many calls to customer service, they swear that there are willing clients who want to purchase posters at $38 daily. They are polite, but ineffective.

It is a nightmare. Again, please don't make the mistake that we did.

Outrageosly Unethical Business
Why are businesses like this legally in operation. Why don't they care of the numerous complaints that are posted about their company. If it were my company i would care. They are out for the quick kill and scam honest people out of their money.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
It is a scam!

RIP-OFF/SCAM
I signed up for an offer that was posted on FaceBook from a company called PosterPass. The offer was for 5 posters for $5 with free shipping. When I placed the order, I did not recieve an email confirmation or any kind of terms of service agreement. I received the posters a few days later with no invoice. Two days later I received another package from PosterPass with 2 more posters in it that I did not order, again no invoice. I checked my credit card statement online and it showed a charge from PosterPass for $25. I called them and they said that the offer was 5 posters for $5 each...that is not what it said. They also told me that the second package was one of two additional shipments of 2 posters that would be charged to my card at $39.80 each! I told them that I did not want any of them, and they said I could return the posters and refuse the additional packages and when they received them back they would issue a credit. So, I returned the 2 boxes I had received and refused the next shipment and then disputed the charges with my credit card company. A week later when I viewed my credit card statement online, they had charged me the $25 initial charge and 3 charges for $39.80 all within one weeks time. When I went to their website, which I had never been to before since I took the offer off of Facebook, I read the minimal terms that are shown and it said something about the first shipment coming within 2 weeks of your order and additional shipments coming once a month after that. I called to see why they were still making charges to my card, and they said that the deal was that you order 5 posters for $25 and then you get 2 shipments PER WEEK at $39.80 apeice every week until you cancel!!! I wondered who in the hell would sign up to pay $80 per week for posters you can buy for less than $5 apiece almost anywhere else. When I pointed out to her that the website said subsequent shipments would come once a month, she had no response other than they had recieved my packages and I would be credited, but that I might not see the credits for up to 4 months! This company has thousands of complaints all over the internet and over a thousand complaints with the Better Business Bureau, but the BBB states that PosterPass had yet to reform their business practices. BEWARE...my next step is to report them to Facebook so that hopefully they will remove their advertising from their site. How do companies like this stay in business after this many complaints???

Unauthorized charges
I purchased some posters for my nephew on a trial basis. I was to have 30 days to cancel before being sent any more posters. I received my order in 6 days. 4 days later I was charged for posters I didn't order. It is going on 5 months and I still don't have a credit to my card for their deliberate rip-off.

Fraudulent charges!!!!!!!!
I 'purchased' four posters for 2.00 a piece for friends gifts, thinking hey thats a good deal! expected to pay sh/ handling charges, so around 15.00 bucks! right?! no the first charge was for 34 99; the second charge was for 4800 a week and a half later; the third charge was for 4800 another week after that! i was late onmy child support payment because of these scumbags! 130.00 dollars into thin air! so i called and spoke with them, he 'said' to write return to sender on the boxes, which i did, and take to the post office, which i did. That was twoweeks ago, nothing takes that long to ship! i havent been refunded, and im F'N PISSED!!! if im not refunded i will file a lawsuit against them, and welcome any and all people who have been screwed by this company to join in... im sick of thievery in this country, all these corporations get away with murder, while the little guy has to eat it! Unfair and deceptive business practices
Ordered "introductory posters" for 25.00 on 9/10/08. Made a mistake not looking into the company prior to ordering. 9/15/08 cancelled by phone with "Angelina" as soon as I noted others' complaints on web. 9/16/08 a charge for 38.90 posted to credit card which I noticed on 9/17/08 after posterpass.com customer service was closed. Phoned again 9/18/08 and was told that "your post office has your order sitting on the shelf, " and "Your first order (secondary to the actual first order, or “introductory” order) was sent on 9/14/08 the day before you cancelled." Hogwash, of course. Post office does not hold my mail on the shelf (especially since the original order was made 9/10/08 and supposedly was being held by post office at least as early as 9/14/08 (a rather remarkable response time for both mail and company that ships "usually within 10 days.")

Phoning them gets nowhere basically, other than "we will refund for any returned posters." Clearly this company prefers to risk customer hostility rather than give up their obvious deceptive marketing.

I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Advise others here to do the same for documentation purposes if for nothing else. (https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/)
