WE PURCHASEDA 42" PLAZMA TV 2 YEARS AGO FOR THE BEDROOM. WE HARDLY USED IT. ONE DAY IT WENT BLACK. CALLED THE PHILIPS OFFICE AND WAS TOLD TO BUY A CHIP. WE WENT AND HAD THE PERSON SERVICE THE TV WITH THE CHIP AND PAID 150.00. THE REPAIRMAN SAID TV WAS SHOT. THIS IS TERRIBLE. WE PAID 2059.00 FOR TV AND IT WILL NEED 1100.00 TO MAYBE FIX IT.
