Last night I went on Intelius to look up a reverse phone number that my cousin gave me who lives in St Thomas. Well, Intelius said the information would only be .99, so I put up a "gift card VISA" thank God, because if I'd put up a regular credit card I'd have really been screwed. I had $50 on this gift card. I needed $40 on that gift card to pay my phone bill, so after I'd looked up the reverse phone number it came up on Intelius that they had charged me $5 instead of the .99. Then, I went and paid my phone bill with the remainder and it got rejected. Okay, I go on the VISA gift card site and it showed that Intelius took out over $30 of bogus charges on me and stated I had been calling some odd 888 numbers or inquiring about them, which I did not do. I emailed their customer service and told them they were TOTAL CROOKS and to cancel my account immediately. People DONT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE EVER!!! I'm glad I only used a gift card.
