A few years ago, I bought a system from PC Importers. The monitor was shipped separately in a plain brown box, with barely any packing materials and no identifying label on the box. Plugged it in and smoke started pouring out. Called customer service, they said to ship it back to them and they would re-imburse me the shipping cost. A week later I receive my DEFECTIVE monitor back in the mail. I call customer service to find out whats going on. They say that it was my fault because of insufficient packing materials (it came that way and I actually added some) and that it was'nt in the original box that it came in (it came in a plain brown box). A year later I was still going round and round getting nowhere. Finally got hold of the OWNER (after a very rude encounter with a woman who wanted to know exactly why...had to call back and get someone else) and was basically told 'Sorry... You're out of luck'
I was out a monitor as well as the shipping cost they never re-imbursed me.
