Panda software like other typical software companies provides few means for personal level software support. I purchased Panda Global Protection 2009 and installed it on my Vista x64 PC. After first reboot, the PC would not allow me to click on any programs and the start menu would not open. Explorer.exe would hang. If I called Panda technical support directly, then I would be charged $19.95 for this incident. This is a SCAM. Errors in Panda software should not require me to pay them to correct it. Only choice is to use their email and web form options. First, I checked their knowledge base. It is very small and provides no answers. I sent two form requests over a 3 week period with no response. Next, I sent Panda customer service and Technical support an email. No response. I called their customer service number and all they would do is send me to technical support... again, requesting $19.95. I plan on sending in a complaint to the BBB, that is, if Panda Software is a member of the BBB. I have used Panda for 10 years and now I will tell all to STAY AWAY from Panda Software.
