Do not buy anything from "obsneakers".

They're based in China, need I say more. I purchased a pair of Air Jordan Melo M4 basketball shoes for $73.90 with a false sense of security because I could pay through paypal. What I received was an imitation pair of sneakers...wrong color, wrong size, wrong style that I could probably buy for $15.00 here in the states.

I filed a complaint with paypal and was instructed to send the shoes back to China within 10 days at my expense for a full refund. Cost to China...$77.00, hmmm so now I'll be out a total of $150. Why should I have to pay the shipping for their mistake or fraud. Why does paypal continue to do business with them? How much money does paypal make from every transaction?

I tried to explain this to paypal and the only 2 choices for the complaint were: relay the tracking # or close the complaint. Try to find paypal's phone number to call a live person...you'll really have to dig. I called and the operator said to go to the resolution section on-line which is how I filed in the first place. So, I sent a message through their question forum and didn't get a response. Then on the 10 day mark they automatically closed the file.

I'm chalking it up to an "Internet purchasing education" even though I'm far from a novice buyer.
