I am the VP of a small sports supplement company. We have been using UPS and the USPS to ship our products for over 7 years. Dealing with the long lines and rude to non-existing service at the Blythebourne station is unacceptable. We actually bought a click & ship type program so the packages can just be dropped in the box.
For the last several months, the box is always full, so nothing can be added. When attempts are made to catch the attention of any of the clerks, they either act deaf, dumb and blind or tell me or my worker to wait on line. Now, the box seems to be permanently locked and we were told that the drop off window is no longer in existence.
As far as I'm concerned, these "clerks" are lucky to even have jobs. Most of them barely have High School Diplomas and have the social skills of rattlesnakes. I think it's bad enough that I had to spend extra funds so I could do a clerks' job in addition to my own; having a safe place to quickly drop off the parcels shouldn't be too much to ask. Having some malcontent telling me that I should stand on line after I already did most of his/her job is disgusting. If I or anyone in my company performed our jobs with such incompetence and outright hostility, I wouldn't have a business.
Your company charges competitive prices to ship... not discount. Consumers should be treated like customers, not like annoying panhandlers. I hope someone will address this complaint. It may be the first letter you actually received, but believe me, I'm not the only unhappy camper.
