I received a letter stating that I'd won $255, 500.00 In the letter there was a check for $3331.50 for a hypothetical $2300 in taxes I owed to Canada. I stated that in lottery winnings it's MY responsibility to take care of my own taxes. Why would I send $2300 by Western Union or MoneyGram to Canada? Just like my mother told me: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
