Do not EVER sign up for Netzero DSL. They had to send me three modems and it ended up crashing my hard drive. They advertise "try it for 30 days and if you don't like it there is a money back guarantee". The 30 days starts from when they activate the line and it didn't matter that the service never worked for me.
When I kept calling and talking to them, I was told one thing by the customer service in the phillipines one time and then another thing by another person the next time. They would not provide me with a company number for the company in the states - what company does not want to talk to their customers??? I had been a member of netzero since the beginning in the mid 1990s. They have now lost me. If anyone is interested in a suit for false advertising, let me know.
