Verbally abusive employee
Nature's Pantry does not value its customers. I learned this after being a long term customer for over 8 years. After all this time I had a problem with special orders not being placed properly. When I questioned this the special order employee became so verbally abusive & loud to me on my cell phone that the individual next to me in my car could hear exactly what she was saying & how she was saying it. This action by the employee was completely unacceptable in any business. The employee told me that she had the right to withhold my special diet food orders and that she didn't have to contact me to tell me this. She held my last order and left my son & I without our special diet food just before the holiday with no means of getting it. This employee was verbally abusive and she outright called me a liar. I never once raised my voice or spoke inappropriately to this staff member. I have continually asked for a simple resolution. For five months the owner has not responded to any phone call or letter I wrote regarding the incident. Today I called to see if I could get a resolution to the situation. The owner actually came to the phone. He said he thought the issue had been settled. I said I've had no response. He told me that he spoke to his employee, and his decision was that I was to shop at another store. This employee verbally attacked a customer, withheld goods from the customer, and if the customer questions it the way this business is going to answer it to say 'shop at another store'. Not only does this company not value long term customer relationships, it is commending verbally abusive employees.
