I bought a Citroen DS3 Techno Pack, end Nov 2010 with accessories (yellow dashboard strip, yellow gear knob, mud guards & chrome side beadings) I received the car with none. January 2011, I was informed after numerous calls & visits that the accessories has arrived & my car was booked for the installation of these. I arrived to collect my car only to find it had spent the whole day at the workshop with nothing fitted! The parts dept has put my car’s mud guards on some other vehicle, half of the chrome side beadings where delivered & the gear knob was a 6 speed instead of a 5 & no yellow dashboard because there where no stock in SA. The parts had to be re-ordered again & the dash specially ordered from France. Weeks later the car went in to be fitted with the mud guards & chrome side beadings. Later, the sales manager told me the dash & gear knob where secured and is been held at Citroen SA to be released for fitment. I was told later, the parts must be manufactured in France & that the order went to France on the 19th of May 2011, together with an order for another custom fitted DS3. The parts would arrive in Sept 2011 latest. To my horror, I got a call on the 17th June 2011 from the Sales Manager t informing me thet I will not be able to get my already paid for accessories because he was advised by Citroen that the accessories was discontinued!!!I’ve been told so many lies, I get no feedback from other managers only empty promises!!The car has been launched last year Oct in SA & already the so called accessories are discontinued???What about those cars that have been customised with accessorised & sold, if they get in an accident and their airbags deploy, how are Citroen going to replace the coloured dash strips???Needless to say I am fed up with this nonsense and really despicable service from Citroen & shall take the matter now to a higher level!!!
