Fraudulent Debit
MB Hot Planet charged $24.99 on my account Nov. 14, 2008. I went to my bank and they took care of it right away and I had the money back in my account in couple of days. Then I got a letter from my bank saying, if I don't close the account and it happens again, they may not be liable. I had no choice, but to close my account of ten years.

Fraudulent Check
An electronic check was written to my checking account, Nov 10th, 2008 for $29.99. Now I have to close an account I have had all of my working life. The woman on the toll free number said my account will be credited within 7 to 10 business days, but I can see that is a scam. She even gave me a reference number.
I do not know this company and just want to add my complaint here.

Fraudulent check cashed
A check in the amount of $24.95 was electronically minused from my account. I had not ordered anything and I do not pay bills online. I went to my bank who made a call to the above phone number and it was a call number and the person we spoke to did not know of any company call MB Hot Planet. A refund is suppose to be made for the 24.95 and I was advised to call our local Better Business Bureau. My bank is keeping an eye on my account.

Unauthorized Debit
I was reviewing my account online and noticed a debit out of my account in the amount of $39.95. Payment was to MB Hot Planet and a toll-free number was provided with a reference number. I called and had them reverse the charge since I did not authorize the debit. I was told by the bank to close the account and open a new one.

Check Fraud
Spoke with Debora (Rep # 027) She told me like everyone else says that they are only a billing company. I was defrauded $39.95 She wouldn't give me any more information and told me if I suspected fraud I must email them at [email protected]
This is SO OUTRAGEOUS! I can't believe this can happen. |

Unauthorized billing
I was also ripped off by Hot Planet. Who are they? Does anyone know? They deducted $29.95 from my account somehow. I have called the number many times but there is no answer. I will keep trying.

Unauthorized charged to checking account
this company charged my account 39.99 on nov 7th 2008.
the bank has submitted a dispute. i have to wait and see what happens.
people check all your checking accounts. this is happening all over the states.

Fraudulent check cashed on my account for $39.99, I havent lived at that address for 3 years, I havent written checks on this account in at least 6 years

Fraudulent debit from checking account
I had heard a report about this on the radio within the last 3 days. Alas, today, I discovered that they had run a fake check through my checking acount using an address we had over 5 years ago! The bank has credited my account, but I had to freeze the account as lost/stolen and transfer everything to a new one.
