I ordered a sample...1 of the product for evaluation...not too many days later my account is charged for a full kit. This happened without my response to Max White regarding my positive or negative evaluation of the sample sent and certainly without my knowing consent.

I ordered a trial offer of teeth whitening product from this company " Max White Teeth". The products received were from a company Advanced Wellness Research and based on my research are operating out of Miami Beach, Florida. The product was shipped from Woodglen, Illinois. Initially, I was charged 5.00 5/6/2009 for S&H as agreed per the order. After reviewing my account history, it was revealed that this company also charged Foreign Transaction fees and had charged me an additional 78.93 on 5/20. According to the customer service reps, "Shawn" and "Annie Thompson", they charged an additional 78.93 due to a subscription service agreement, to which I did not agree. I contacted the company for additional information and they were very evasive in answering my questions, especially in regards to speaking with a manager and obtaining additional contact information to lodge a complaint. This is a SCAM and may be operating under the umbrella company Advanced Wellness Research or Ivory Whites in the US as well as another country.

As a consumer, there are inherent risks when purchasing such items, however, I have seen several entries on a blog board who have experienced the exact same issues.

This is unethical and beleive that this company is operating a Scam operation. Contact the Federal TradE Commission and shut these weasles down!!!

Like the others, I ordered a free sample as advertised, for shipping and handling charges. I was later charged $78 for a subscription I never requested.

My credit card company said they would reverse the charges, but the merchant may protest, and they may repace the charges again.

I emailed the credit card company, and told them that I had researched the website, and there is a grey box with fine print that states that I agree to accept the subscription. However, this is THEIR statement, not mine. If I agree to something, I should take an overt act stating that I agree, and that never happened.

In addition to complaining to your credit card company, you can also complain to the FTC. If they get a thousand such complaints, they will make moves to shut these people down, or at least to shut them out.

I have been scammed out of 78 bucks from this Max White teeth company. No where did it say on the sign up information that I would be charged 78 dollars for this. I have called 3 times now to get my money back and some poor soul in India has had to deal with my frustration over this.
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET MY MONEY BACK?!??!
