Unless you enjoy paying money to a company that does all it can to get as much money from you as possible while providing the least enjoyable consumer experience, offering above average prices, and sarcastic customer service, avoid this company. I am basically in a position where I paid them to meet a required spending just so I don't have to run the risk of being billed by them. They require four purchases, so I buy two books, well above the required price, because I wanted to read those books, but by some strange tecnicality, neither books are counted towards my four book minimum. If I help one person to avoid them I feel vindicated.

These idiots keep sending me bills claiming I owe them money after I've paid the bill. This has happend over and over again! Then I go into my account and try to cancel my membership and the website goes to a completely different page and doesn't let me cancel. I absolutely do not advise anyone to join this club it is way to stressful.

I keep gettings books that are not ordered. I would like to return them but continue to receive dunning bills.

I did not sign up for membership in the Literary Guild. They said they sent books to me. I've never received these books. They have now sent "my account" to a horrible collection agency called Eastern Collection Corporation. These people are unbelieveably rude and refuse to listen to my complaints. I'd like to hear from others who have had similar experiences.
