Money taken from my account
We went to LimeWire website on Sunday 13 may to download music. We clicked to pay 1 pound 66 pence. We paid this amount using my visa debit card. I checked my account later and saw that, to my surprise, they charged me 34 pounds and 1 pence. Moreover, they charged me again the very next day with 34 pounds and 76 pence. I did not give my permission for these payments, and I am talking to my bank to get my money back.

cant log in
i got a membership for 1 year on feb6 2011 and i cant log in with the password the program gave me . i was really looking foward to using this program and now im disapointed. is this what you guys do scam people for there money. nice. please get back to me with a new password or my money. thank you

Material Downloaded
What a problem. Even if you are just downloading unlicensed products, you never know what your going to get. You think your downloading one thing and you get something totally unexpected. And usually junk or spam or worse. Tried it a few times, staying away at this point. I just dont feel safe. I dont want to end up with a PC virus, spyware or something illegal on my PC.

Rip off company
My complaint is that i tried to purchase 'LIME PRO' for faster service. And i gave my information regarding payment. For 1- the software or download never occured, 2- the company charged me 3 times 18.88, and 4 attempted to charge me the 4th time, but no sufficient funds available.
Ok! i called the company and a young lady answered the telephone. I told what have happened and she stated that if there any errors on my payments and i didnt get the software. In 3 buisness days the payment would be returned back in my account. Well people the call was made on 6/8/06. And the date is 6/12/06. I STILL DIDNT GET MY MONEY REFUNDED. That is why i say 'I WAS RIPPED OFF AND LEFT ME BROKE. If there was supposbly an error, howcome the payment went thru 3 times and attempted a 4 payment. Right there, it wasnt an error.

bait and switch
When purchasing the "Pro" edition of LimeWire, the form popped up with a notice that my phone number was incomplete. When I selected the button to correct this, the total for my order magically increased by $10 for no known reason. Incidentally, initially, the order form automatically adds a checked off box for additional software unrelated to LimeWire- and an additional $14.95 charge. You can unselect the box, of course, but it is probably wiser to select another P2P product.

unauthorized charges and unable to use
I agreed to pay $0.99 a month for Limewire, after I put in my card information, it told me that a total of over $54.00 was being pulled out of my account. I DID NOT AGREE TO THIS!!! To make matters worse, I figured if I was going to have to pay for it, I might as well use it, so I entered the username (mpuv3y) and password (umvpy3x) that they gave me, and it told me it was invalid. This company just stole $54.00 from me, and I want it back!

refund
I recently tried purchising a subscription but soon realised that it was charging me for things i didnt want, and i have a lot of difficulty using the website. i requested to speak to the administrater for a refund. Ive heard nothing back. The money is still in my account but can not be taken out. I need that money as i have a young child and my partner has gone and im struggling. I need that money.

Scam and fraud
Today on june 24, i just download that limewire from this noreply... They gave me a password that doesn't work and they download something on my computer that you cannot get access on. Can somebody tell me if they have receive their money back??? Or if I should tell someone at mastercard.

Rip off
This Company is a total con, and is clearly ripping people off !! I thought I was buying a monthly subscription of £0.99 a month for two years, but ended up getting charged a £64 in total for all other sorts of other programs which I didn't ask for and which I haven't actually received!! The program that I did think I was buying also didn't work!!! This company clearly needs to be stopped!!!

Rip off
I had heard from some friends of mine that Limewire was the way to go for music downloads, WRONG!! I signed up for it and now am unable to connect to the services, with no way to cancel it. This is a joke and I'm out $45.00.
