bad service
my complaint is never buy anything from CONNS bad service even if you buy warranty to have someone service your washer like mines it only worked for 4 days after that forget it's been almost a month that no one has come to service it yet ugh at this point im about to take it back but they said it would count has a repo I'm like oh no it needs a the whole digital memory star and power button part it came in last and the were not even plan to call me just to schedule a time and date for them to come put it in now I have to wait one more week for that ...my point is that im never doing bussines with them ever again, , , ,

Stay away
Three weeks ago I placed a call to the Home Depot Extended Warrenty Company regarding my LG washing machine that I purchased at Home Depot in November, 2007. Several days later the company Superior Electronics came to my house and informed me that the part needed to repair my washing machine was not in-stock and that it would take at least one and half weeks. When I complained that this is crazy, both the warrenty company and the technician indicated that it is extremely difficult to get parts to fix the LG washing machine. If that is the case why are these washing machines still being sold? Yesterday I waited patiently for the technician to fix my machine only to find out that the problem was misdiagnosed and so I begin the waiting game again. This time they tell me the part is in stock so hopefully they should have it in a couple of days. I've called the warrenty company, the store I purchased it at, and the Home Depot Customer Care Center and was told by

all that there is nothing they can do about it. It's completely insane that a washing machine that is not even three years old needs to be repaired and even crazier that no one will take responsibility. I WILL NOT SHOP AT HOME DEPOT AND SUGGEST THAT IF YOU ARE EVEN THINKING OF PURCHASING A LG WASHING MACHINE YOU THINK AGAIN. I am not a happy customer and hopefully will have a working washing machine before 4 weeks have passed.

As a result, I have had to spend money to go elsewhere to have laundry done. If this was a car, they would have given me a rental. I don't think I'm asking too much to be compensated for this inconvenience.

Worthless store
I purchased a lg washer and dryer as a set and since the day it was purchased the headaches, heartaches started, asked them to replace them under the federal law of 30 day return policy, this was 15 days into the purchase and store manager said it was up to corporate office, corporate office said it was up to store manager. It never got done and when trying to get these appliances repaired by the geek squad, they said they were unqualified to work on these products. after 15 months of fighyting/argueing with them and hearing every excuse imaginable we came, they point blank refused to repair, replace these products. And after they send their repair boys out and figured out that the mechanical item was a lot smarter then the company service techs.

smelly bad for your health
Terrible LG washing machine. I've had it for 4 years and about 2 years ago it started to smell mildewy. We live out in the country and on a water well system which is high in iron, so I thought it was that!!! I did read the manual and cleaned the filter and drained the water and on and on and on. When I called costumer service they only told me to do what I had already done. Again, kept thinking it was an isolated incident due to my water. They never suggested to get a tech to take a look at the problem, even though I had wasted more money on an extended warrenty>>>>

Then I went on the net and read all the 100s of stories posted by people which mirrored my situation. It is not my water, or anything I have done or didn't do. I leave the stupid door open all the time, my husband and I fight about that all the time as we all keep banging into it. I even take out the soap dispenser after each wash and clean the rubber. I have tried Tilex and Affresh and on and on, it still stinks..

I am sick of the way my clothes smell and the stinky washer. One interesting thing I also discovered was when I took out the soap dispenser while the wahser was running on the spin cycle and I took a look inside the rubber tube with a flash light, I found so much water sitting there that was not draining out!!! It was splashing around. Once the cycle was done, I took a long stick with a towle and when I took the towle out it was soaked and was black!!! I wonder where they tell you about that in the manuel????? Those of you who were unfotunate enough to buy this piece of ---- should try this.

The company won't do anything. There are a few class action law suites in the United States against LG and others who have this faulty design. ANYONE KNOW OF ANY LAW SUITES IN CANADA???? OR HOW WE CAN START ONE??? What happened to mold and mildew being a health hazard??? My husband and younger son have sever allergies and this only adds to their misery.

If anyone knows what us Canadains can do about this please post it on this site. PLEASE>...

Service - Lack Of
A 3 year old LG Front Loader HE Washer showed error code LE.
A call to LG produced no local or regional servicing dealer. We are in central KY. A week later and calls to several repair services, finally found one from 60 miles away. Diagnosis revealed the need for a new motor. The motor is still under warranty. I have called the service several and LG. Replacement or refurbished motors are generally not available. LG suggested I look at a junk yard to find a used motor. The repair service is still trying to get a unit from LG. Today LG tells me to remove the motor and take it to an electric motor repair shop.

Poor service!
LG washing machines stink. I bought the washer and dryer at home depot in december 2005. It broke down in march of 2007. It took until the end of june to get it repaired. When i called service three times they gave me repair places that were either over 50 miles away, didn't service what they didn't sell or wouldn't return my call. when i finally got a repairman, they ordered the part. I was told it would be 3-5 days. after 10, i called service again and they said no part had been ordered (which i knew wasn't so). My repairman kept calling as well. After 9 weeks the part finally came in and was repaired. the repairman said they would no longer do LG repairs because of the hassle that LG gave them on my and other repairs. Do yourself a favor and do not buy LG anything.

I do not ever recommend LG appliances!
Front load clothes washer and clothes dryer I bought in summer of 2005 and were expensive machines. What a piece of junk! The washer never did work right, it could not seem to do a final spin, it would say it was unbalanced. I finally realized a front load should not be this much trouble. I contacted the store I bought it from, they were little help and LG was horrible to deal with. I ended up being 6 out 8 weeks without a washer while they tried to repair it.

Finally LG agreed to reimburse the store I got it from AFTER I told them their next contact would be from my lawyer.

The store I got this piece of junk from agreed to letting me take a Whirlpool which is a great machine.

I still am stuck with the LG dryer and am not happy with it. It works but poorly built. In my opinion, both LG appliances were very poorly built compared to the Whirlpool washer I now have.

I do not ever recommend LG appliances after my experience with them.
