Unauthorized charges
I noticed strange charges from a company named LeanRx. I called their toll free number 800-296-2029 several times leaving messages. No one called back. I have 4 withdrawals from my bank account. They took $228 from my account. One charge was made by "XtremeBurn"?! I never heard of this company. Now I am paying fees to my bank because I had insufficient funds, have to close my checking account, and try to get back my money!

Stealing my money
I am a recent widow and have made many mistakes since my husband died, i sent for a free sample of hoodia, i think that is what this is for, well, when i got the sample i was afraid to take it and at that time had a phone number that they answered and told the woman i didn't ever want it and she said she would take care of it, i have never received the product so i figured way back then it was sept, of last year that it was taken care of, i have not checked my charges to my stupid mind till last month and have tried both phone numbers even putting them on redial for a very long time i can reach no one they are stealing from me, have only sent the product once so they canceled the product but i have kept paying, one, amount was 79.95 another month 69.95 my mind is getting clearer and i will get all my charges out and want to file a complaint and get my money back.

No one wants to take any action against this outfit
We had three unauthorized charges to our credit card last year from leanrx. Company was in California at that time. They move their 866 number around various parts of the country. We just had a charge of 84.00 from JW Holding (?). The bank gave us the number of 1-866-82-3186. Number is answered by machine and mentions leanrx and other brands. This company is an absolute fraud. Don't know how they get card numbers, but we have just had ours cancelled. I have previously complained to the consumers affairs office in Ga., but it seems no one wants to take any action against this outfit.

Fraudulent account withdrawals
In the past 2 months I have had 4 unauthorized, fraudulent amounts withdrawn from my checking account via my debit card to the above company as well as "xtremeburn" and "Dream Smile". $74.95, 79.95, 69.96 and 14.95. I have seen websites that reference all three of these names as scammers.

Credit card fraud
I was falsely charged $74.95 on 1/9/07 and $69.95 on 1/16/07 by a company called LeanRX. Their customer service hotline seems to be phony because when you call it it is just a poorly made computer voice which asks for your credit card number and directs you to a website which doesn't seem to exist either. I googled their name and find that many other people have posted complaints identical or similar to mine against this "company".

LeanRx changes names
LEANRX is changing its name when it posts fraudulent charges to accounts . In addition to LEANRX they are also posting transaction, which I received, under description name on billing as EXTRMEBURN. EXTREMEBURN listed the same 8003048447 phone# and 8668823057 # # that LEANRX had on its fraudulent postings. Also EXTREMEBURN also has it denoted as NEVADA. Have your credit card fraud company notified that any EXTREMEBURN posting to your account should be treated as it were LEANRX, which are totally fraudulent charges.

3 unauthorized charges in 1 month!
Our CC statement arrived today (a card we use very little), and 2 charges leapt out at me, for $74.95 and $69.95 to LeanRX in Henderson NV. Like the other postings said, you call and you get an automated attendant wanting you to enter your credit card (not so much !!!). Called CC co and cancelled the card. I then learned there was a third charge since the statement date, from ExtremeBurn (or XtremeBurn ??); I see both listed together on other postings on this site and other sites.
Not much you can do. Just cancel your card; the CC co will hopefully void all the charges, and not make you eat the $50 you lawfully owe. Not many companies do....
Just a tip, you can get Identity Theft coverage through most Homeowners carriers now, or your Renters coverage carrier. It's TONS cheaper than the programs the credit card companies or banks try to sell you (my CC company took the opportunity of my getting screwed to try to sell me this for $8.99 a month ! ). Don't waste your time - just get it through your HO carrier.
