Bad management
I went in to kohls and a manager was real rude to me.I ts like she didn't what to wait on me it's real hard to find good help in that store.I'm just going to give up shopping there.They need to get rid of her as a manager and get someone who can help.

Rudeness
Me and my wife were looking for a right size of jeans in the Mens section of this store on 10/27/09 at 7.00pm and where taken aback coz of an employee cursing us on our backs just coz he had to put the clothes back to there proper place.I felt humiliated by this incidence and i am going to lodge complain against this employee to the head office.

Vent about being treated unfair
I am a current associate at kohls.. The pay sucks like hell and lately i have been hearing that some of the workers are making more than others.. But here is the thing a lot of those workers are also family members to the to bosses and supervisor's talking about an unfair work environment... Today i left work crying and scared my boss had scorned me because he said i rolled my eyes while me and him were having a conversation five minutes before he came in to do so.. when i told him i do not recall doing that he called me a liar and told me he saw what he saw.. Im only human and i didn't know that i wasn't allowed to make facial expressions. he told me if i did it again he would fire me.. he also added that my attitude sucked and informed me that a few others didn't really care for me. lately i been having a lot on my mind so im very to my self because of what i just found out about my health which is not good news so all i can do is think about my situation. i explained to him i come to work to provide excellent customer service and to do my job and that's it.. i informed him that i don't really talk to others because im not one to gossip while i work he told me i was making my case worse because that's basically telling him im not a friendly person.. I dont know what to do any more when i apologized for what ever he felt i did wrong he laughed in my face i ask what was funny he said me.. i told him if i was to do the same to him i would be fired and he replied yes u would.. he also told me i was doing a shitty job at work and he don't see any productivity from me.. which i find funny and hard to believe because 2 days ago one of the other supervisor rewarded me with a gift for working hard and being a team player.. im confused and don't know what to do any more im sure i will be fired and i have no idea why.. im young and really do not know my rights so i feel stuck all i can do is pray that i don't lose my job kiss my boss ass so that way i can continue to feed my baby..

Credit applications
It annoys me that in my local Kohls there is no one on the sales floor working other than the cashiers and there are areas that have been totally destroyed and need to be straightened up but instead the focus on announcing how many credit apps they need on the intercom systems. To make matters worse, now they have employed people to walk around and harrass you about getting a kohls charge. I was approached by the same woman 3 times in 20 minutes and each time she argued with me, telling me I needed a kohls charge so i could get additional savings. I was so irritated I just went and checked out, and was again harrassed by the cashier who tried talking me into a kohls charge...and when i said no I was treated rudely and my items were just thrown in the bag.
Kohls should be more appreciative of their cash paying customers, but I guess they are just dying to charge mindless credit seeking idiots interest.

Online Payment for Kohls Card
I purchased a Kohls card and decided to use the online payment. As soon as the amount was due I did the “Pay Online”. I was even 3 weeks early on my payment. My information wasn’t in the system and I received an email confirming that my card was paid. I decided to go online today and just look up my Credit Card Info. Thank god I did because I saw that my Bill was 50.00 more than what it was in the beginning. I tried calling customer service which you will NEVER talk to a human. They want you to punch in your Kohls number and/or Social Security number. So I called the actual store and asked for a real living person to help me. They gave me the number for the corporate office. I asked the woman why I was charged for the $50.00. She said that the Routing ID was wrong, but she didn’t understand why the computer charged me twice, two days later after it was rejected. She then said that it was a shame what happened but the computer does this and you can’t change it. Pretty much, pay the double fines and yes the computer has a mind of its own I guess and runs the payment center as well. I asked the woman in the Credit Department if I would be charged a late fee and she told me that the computer says its paid and to not worry about it. WTF? I’m supposed to believe this story! I WILL NEVER SHOP at this store again. I have written several letters regarding this to Kohls and of course I guess the computer system doesn’t read emails. I’ve NEVER had a problem like this and I’ve never dealt with a Generic and Shady company like this before! Please don’t get a Kohls Card. August 3 2009

bad customer service
I went into Kohls to purchase a luggage bag. I found one that I wanted but it had no price tag on it. I looked all over the luggage area and there were no other bags like this one. So I went up to the check out area and told the lady that there was no price on it and could she find out how much it was. She said to me 'well, I can't sell it without a bar code'. So she looked the item over and confirmed that there was no price tag and asked me if I would go back to find another one. I told her that I had already looked throughout the whole luggage area and there were no more bags like this one. So she told me 'well honey, I can't sell it without a barcode' like it's my fault the bag has no tag on it. So she made a phone call for some help, then waited a few more seconds and said to me again, 'I can't sell it without a barcode'. What kind of customer service is that??? I always thought that if you walk into a store and everything is for sell, if someone wants to buy something from you, you make sure they don't leave the store without the item they wanted. She could have looked it up on the computer, I used to work a POS system and there are ways of looking an item up if it has no sticker. Or she could have found someone who could help her figure out what to do. But instead she refused to sell me the bag and made me feel like it was my fault that the item had no tag on it.

Payment in Full
Beware when you pay your credit card in full. I paid a balance of $610.00 after 2 days I saw the amount removed from my checking account. The next day I went shopping at Kohls and the card was denied. The reason given by customer service. Balances paid over $500.00 are held for 14 days even though the deduction was taken from my checking account in 2 days. We were very loyal customers but now cancelled the card and will never shop at Kohls again. Kohls will loose about $500.00 a month based on our current spending pattern. Im sure with their business policys they will be the next big chain to go under.

Misleading ads
On 5-5-2009 Kohls had a sign in the mens department that said "ALL SOCKS: buy 1 package, get 2nd package half off". In tiny print on the bottom of the sign, it also said "excludes gold toe". Of course I didn't read all the fine print and when I got to the register I was charged full price for both packs. Stupid me for assuming that "all socks" meant "all socks"? No, stupid me for shopping at Kohls. At least the clerk apologized. The store manager blew me off. I guess these are good times for Kohls managers.

Kohls - FRAUD via multiple unauthorized charges
Kohls.com is a fraudulent website. Do not buy from them. I tried to purchase something from them on-line and repeatedly got a "rejected" message that my credit card was not accepted and to enter another cardnumber. After entering both my American Express and Visa number, whicho were both "rejected", I gave up. I called their customer service number and the telephone tree message told me to enter my SSN, which immediately got me suspicious. I hung up.

A few hours later, American Express sent me a security alert to ask if I had used my card at Kohls. I told them I tried and failed and luckily, they rejected the charge. I then immedidately called my Visa bank and sure enough, Kohls also charged my Visa card twice that same day! I cancelled my Visa card and rejected the Kohls charges. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY OR THEIR WEBSITE! They steal your credit card number this happened on May 1, 2009.

shoplifting
On mar 9, I have been charged for shoplifting in kohls for $521, though it was $200. they arrest me and finger printed and charged for a class 3 felony. I am currently on my F-1 visa doing masters. But the items were sale but they charge full price on ticket??

I had a hearing on april 1 and was give a court date for june 10. I have hired lawyer and he say it be a misdemeenor as it first time offense.

I have travel plan to India this month and the judge has given me a special needful for it. do I need to cancel it? will it be a problem at the POE?

I have taken consultation law office, but I have a question which I havent asked then.

1) as the case is still in process. would it be better if i graduate this summer or fall 2008( Iam already done with my course work). How woud it affect my OPT?

I have learnt alot from my mistakes. I feel ashamed for all this and very sorry. can any one please help me out.. who knows judge.
