Rip Off Phony Company
I too fell for the schpeal given to me from Tony. I feel bad that I even bought into the idea of marketing my son but he is so darn cute to me and I thought it would be a great experience for him. I also thought it would be a good way that, at 6 months old, he could finally help out with the bills... Just kidding.
Anyway, he did do one job that was for a photography studio doing a practice shoot for some new photographers, I won't name the studio. That was fun and great but that was 3 years ago! No word since. I updated his photo several times but never heard another word, and for a while I didn't even think much about it. But as our time comes to being up, you pay for 5 years upfront, I thought we would update our picture again and see if there is anything available to do. Come to find out, the company has been bought out. No letter sent to us, no phone call, just money gone. I would like a refund. I know that isn't going to happen but if there is a lawsuit, I want in too! These people need to stop taking advantage of people and need to see some consequences for the money they pretty much stole from so many people!

Scam and cheating
We too were fooled by promises of modeling/acting work for our son. The letter came in the mail when he was just 6 months old. From the beginning, our son has been happy and full of smiles so we thought why not put his good nature to work and save some money for his future. Well, our good intentions were never fulfilled.

We were interviewed by Carol S at the Cherry Hill location of kids.com and she told us that we had a good chance due to our son's physical attributes. She showed us pictures of current clients and where those clients were working. We were excited at the opportunity - one that never panned out. We went to all of the mandatory photo shoots to get updated pictures for the Kids.com website but we never got any work.

Frequent attempts to contact the agency were to no avail and we never got any work for our son. We are very disappointed that companies like this can take advantage of new parents and get their hopes up. I would like to be involved in any lawsuit against Kids.com. if there are others currently in the process, please contact me @ (((redacted))).

Scam and cheating
We signed a contract with Kids.com 3 years ago for 5 years. I thought is was strange I hadn't gotten the reminder message about updating my son's picture. I first tried to go to the website and it wasn't there. Then I tried calling and the number had been disconnected. We have been scammed!

What a fraud all over the US and yet nothing has been done about this? Class action lawsuit should be pursued!

Unauthorized billing
I received a letter in the mail, so I took up the offer in 2004 when my daughter was only 2 months old. We met Tony and he made everything sound so good like a dream come true. He made things sound so promising, so we paid the $595. Did two sittings for my daughter's portfolio, but never received any calls or any assignment. We just never heard of them again since the day we met Tony. Shouldn't someone also be looking into Caryn International? Tony claimed that they were also apart of Caryn International and they Caryn International also worked with Kids.com. He advised me that if I ever can't get a hold of Kids.com then I should call Caryn International for support as well. Well... I've stopped contacting them because it got hopeless and my daughter is now going on 4 and never received anything from them! A waste of my money. If a lawsuit is filed I want in on it!

Money stealing company!
In February 2007, I was contacted by Kids.com expressing interest in my, then, 7 month old twin boys. A little skeptical, my husband and I brought our sons on an 'interview' on Feb. 12, 2007. Upon reviewing the process, and showing us clients in legitimate print ads, we were convinced this wasn't a fraud. Lee Bodenmiller even gave us a special sibling offer for twins, with a 2:1 price. We went to the assigned photographer on Sunrise Highway shortly after, and were excited to see the boys' pictures on the website.

Almost a year later, I still haven't heard from anyone, so I decided to log onto their website, which I saw did not exist. I retrieved the file, called the number on the business card, and heard the number is temporarily disconnected. I then did an internet search, and learned I am not the only victim.
