Dear Sirs,
First let me introduce you ourselves, El Nasr Clothing & Textiles co. KABO, a leading manufacturer & exporter company in the readymade garments field since 1940.
We're complaining the delay of delivery on time of 2 shipments AWB#873236514909 & 873236514910 which were meant to be delivered to Las Vegas USA as we were participating in "Magic Show", an international exhibition known to be the dominant buying event in the men's apparel industry. This year Egypt was chosen to be the focus country so we took the biggest booth in the exhibition & decided to ship with Fedex our samples & promotional materials to guarantee the delivery on time.
We were ready to ship on the 8th of Feb. yet Fedex advised that they'll take the shipments on the 9th with no influence on the delivery date which was agreed to be the 11th of Feb. 2011, the 2 shipments were never delivered until the 14th of Feb. at 11.30am which caused us the following loss;
- 2 days of the exhibition which started on the 13th & ended on the 16th of Feb. we only exhibited our samples for 2 days; the cost of the Magic show day cost us = EGP27, 500, we lost 2 days so we're claiming EGP55, 000.
- As we were the focus country we lost the meeting of many big potential buyers which cannot be valued as the damage was in our image, how come we want to deal with a buyer while we cannot ship our own samples to the exhibition on time?!!!
We sent a complaint to Fedex Egypt on Feb. the 20th, but till dated no body replied. The issue was dealt with complete negligence & indifference during & after the shipping as we asked Fedex several times to solve the problem with no response.
Kindly advice with the proper investigation & procedure to be taken in order to compensate our loss in terms of money EGP55, 000 & international reputation & image.
