I bought the IOMEGA SCREENPLAY PLUS USB 2.0/AV/HDMI, 1TB MULTIMEDIA DRIVE. When I connected it it did not have a 1TB disk space as advertised on all Iomega pages and all the retailer pages. The disk space was merely 930 GB.

When I addressed this to Iomega support they kept sending me the same link on their site trying to "explain" how to read the disk space. I told them the link and the information was wrong but Iomega does not want to admit they have lied on all their advertisements about the actual disk space available, have sold products under false advertisement and offered the worst Technical customer support.

It took me an insane amount of time, energy and patience to be able to speak with any sort of Manager who was as "technical knowledgeable and helpful" as the rest of the support team.

Even when fulfilling this form I contacted iomega´s live chat to get their phone no. I did not get the no from the CSR or a reply at all!

THIS is Iomega customer service.

Now I am fighting to get my money back for my product which is almost impossible as well.

I have never bought any product from any company that has been so bad, accompanied by useless customer service following by general incompetence.

I will not advise anybody to buy anything from Iomega as they are a useless as company selling useless products. I would rather promote Seagate´s products and when I will get my money refunded from Iomega eventually I will purchase what I should have done in the first place: A Seagate Multimedia player.
