The site promises the latest information. Much of the time I could not view anything because it constantly said web page unavailable. It also was advertised as free, but when you wanted to view something, it asked you to select one free item, which you then had to pay for. I paid for the first one, and then the next item automatically used my credit card. I do not wish to have this membership as it is not free as promised. Each successive page asked for more money, and it wouldn't let me click out.

Got charged for a service I didn't sign up for. Spend lots of time on the phone to straighten it out. Almost 2 months of unanswered calls and emails only to be told today via email from intelius customer service to "*** IN A SHOE". I asked why he was so rude and was then told "THAT IS WHAT IN OUR MANUAL. Yup, no joke, copies of the email will be mailed, emailed and faxed to anyone important I can find in that company. I am just shocked! People work in the customer service industry and have no customer skills. I'm tired of them getting away with it. They ruin it for the people who work hard to make customers happy and for us customers who PAY for their services!

I used Intelius to do a background check for my tenant. The check came back giving me a address report, confirming that the tenant had no record. After trying to evict the tenant, I did further investigation and found out that, not only was her credit horrible, but she had actually been evicted from 2 prior residences. This busness pays google to stay at the top of it's list. But they suck! After reading all of these complaints< run!

DO NOT ever buy any "products" from Intelius.com.

I wanted to do a criminal record search on some *** that stole my identity. You find out ABOUT the record, but you can't view it's contents. They mislead you into thinking if you spend just a little more money, you've got it. Fat chance! All they do is tell you about more reports that you have to buy. They do not tell you anything, except that you have to buy into the next level of their scam. Their system is built up in layers. Every new type of info cost more money. They want you to buy the 50 dollar report, which I didn't do, but I ended up wasting 40 dollars anyway.

These people are con artists. They are not a legitimate business.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!

Paid with card online when site stated it had information re: reverse cell phone number search that reputable sites couldn't find: white pages, anywho. After collecting money and the number of receipt, I'm informed that their specialists are at work and will let me know by email when or if! They are able to get the information. I have immediately requested a refund. I am informed that if I am approved for a refund, I'll receive it in 5 to 9 business days!!'

Don't waste yr time with intelius!!
