fraud
Please help! I used Intelius to track down an old friend. I only now have realized that I was inadvertanly charged over $300 in the past 10 months ($14.95 twice a month) by companies I have never even heard of: 24 protect plus and privacy matters). I cannot seem to get my money back. It seems a lot of people have had this experience: what can I do?

overcharging my credit card
I had ordered a people search from them for $2.95 which was not as helpful as the free sites and then noticed that I was automatically signed up for identity protection without my permission or knowledge at a charge of 14.95. This is not the first time this has happened. I'm getting really tired of these rip-off jokers helping themselves to my money!

Unauthorized billing
I've been charged for services I've not authorized. I've tried to call this people to stop this charges but nobody answered.

Please close my account that I have with you. I do not know what my account # is but my credit card # is 4305-5700-0068-5145 exp date 03/11. My phone # is 410-398-2034. I waited over 20 minutes before I hung up due to frustration. The # I called was 888-445-2727.

Scam
I ran a report on myself. I lived in the area 60 years. They have no report or any other reference on me. They will not refund. I will contract my credit card and issue a complaint. They are a scam. Do not use them as they are multi-teared scam system making you pay for more services thinking you will get your information if you pay the added price. Scam...!
I don't know if other companies can provide this service. It is good to run a background search when you are constructing a resume. But, you need to deal with a proper company which isn’t a scam, if there is such a company. I tried another company and they also are a scam. Good luck.

fraudulent reports
I did not receive the reports I'd paid for, and a refund was denied. I spoke with Dominick, and was assured there would be no monthly charge. He made the statement that the reports are only from public records. When I asked him where the info was on the tax fraud and evasion from Utah that pertained to the person being investigated, he had no response. Seemed impervious to have his company investigated by the Feds. Wonder why?
