end trial
i did a people search but did not get a response from you when i wanted to end my 7 day trial...i would like all charges to be credited back to my credit card..i will take further action if necessary..please do not contact me again...except to tell me you are crediting my account.

unauthorized charge to my account
I have tried for two days to get hold of Intelius and I wait 20 minutes then get a busy signal. I have disputed at charge of $19.95 that I did NOT authorize. I have disputed the charges with my credit card company. I get tired of these scams when you buy something then they automatic use your card with0ut authorization

company gave credit card # to another agency and made charged to account
they charged my card 19.95 and also gave credit card info to another agency that also charged my card. no one answers phone number either

Unauthorized billing
I am so pissed! I check my acct. this morning and I have an unauthorized activity on my acct. from a company called Valuemax... shown as "ap9* valuemax-v" on my acct. After a long morning of being on the phone I realized that this was taken out of my acct. because I did a reverse phone # look up on Intelius website aaand paid to do so.
I clicked on a little box at some point during check out that said something like "Yes, I agree to have an email sent to the email address provided for information on how to save $10"... or something like that. I'm sure somewhere in the fine print it told me that by clicking this deceiving little box that I am authorizing some company, that I've never heard of, to charge my account a monthly membership fee of $19.95 for services that are not specified and that I (like many of us) do NOT NEED!All because I did a People Search... omg! Don't you think if they wanted you to come back and use their website again that wouldn't try to rob you!
The saddest part of this is that it is legal to be deceiving like this in order to steal money from innocent and hard working people! I plan on going as far as I can go with this. It's not even the fact that they STOLE money out of my account that *** me off it's that they are continuing to do so day after day and nobody is doing anything about it! When I spoke with the man on the phone from Intelius I told him he should be ashamed of cashing his check every week! That is our money people!!! Our HARD earned money! They know what they are doing and they are getting rich from stealing from us. I'll be back to add more as I get more information on what we can do to stop these thieves from getting rich off of our money.

no answer
I have tried and tried to reach Intelius telling them to end the 7 day trial for PROTECT MY IDENTITY. I am cancellimng as of today. It eas Saturday September 20, 2008 when I logged on to this this. Today is September 24, 2008 and I want it cancelled before I am billed.
You can't get through by phone. You can't log on and find where to cancel PROTECT MY IDENTITY.
All I want is confirmation that it has been cancelled.

CHARGES FOR SERVICES NOT RECEIVED
ON SEPT 22, 2008, I WAS CHARGED $.99 AND ON THE 23RD $19.95, FOR SERVICES i DID NOT RECEIVE. I RECEIVED AN E-MAIL SAYING THAT THE INFORMATION REQUESTED COULD NOT BE LOCATED AND MY CHECKING ACCOUNT (DEBIT CARD) WOULD NOT BE CHARGED, YET THE CHARGES WERE PUT THROUGH. PLEASE PROPERLY CREDIT MY ACCOUNT. THANK YOU.

subscription fee
My name is Wanda reece and I have been charged 2 months now for something I have not subscribed to. I want all monies refunded immediately. I eed that money for medication and you have now messed up my bank account. I am 77 years old and a widow. I want my money back. I have been trying all morning to get a hold of you by phone but to no avail. I work hard for my money and I want it returned.

Unauthorized charges
I did a background check with Intelius and they gave me a subscription for $19.95/mo for identity protection! A service I never asked for, never authorized!!! THEY ARE STEALING from consumers! Then they make you wait 20 minutes on hold so they hope you hang up! I am disgusted! I am calling the better biz bureau! How can someone charge you for a service never purchased/authorized, etc... Please beware of these scams and the only reason i chose them was because they were the first to come up under search engines. I hope they get what is coming to them.
